However it is also the story of grit and determination, a story of following one`s dream against all odds and emerging victorious, a story about a young lad called Shankar who, faced with the prospect of having to make a living as a factory worker in his impoverished village, bids farewell to his family in Keutia, rural Bengal, and through his aid Prasad Das Banopadhay, who happens to work for the Uganda railway head office sets sail to the Dark Continent to work as the station master in Nakuru station, a dream come true for Shankar who has always envisioned himself as a expeditionary and holds interest in world geography and map reading. It is at this Nakuru station, where Shankar is faced with the consequences of Africa, ranging from bloodthirsty lions & aggressive Black Mambas. Binod comes to know about the goons (who are by now released on bail), and the way they have terrorized the village. Binod tries to motivate villagers the way Barun did.

Jeet is very ambitious which leaves him with very little time for his wife, Tanuka. Consequently, their relationship gets strained. Another character, Rajarshi also gets involved in a complicated relationship...

Kanamachhi stars Ankush, Abir Chatterjee, Srabanti and Sananda in leading roles. Srabanti & Ankush are journalists working for a leading newspaper. Ankush plays a photo journalist who does an investigative story that disappoints the political mafia ruling the state. Due to this both face various problems and how the duo emerge triumphant by successfully overcoming the opposition they face forms the film`s story.

`Bojhena Shey Bojhena` is a Bengali romance, directed by Raj Chakraborty and produced by Shree Venkatesh Films. The film is the remake of 2011 Tamil superhit, `Engaeyum Eppothum`, directed by M. Saravanan and starring Jai, Anjali, Sharvanand, and Ananya. The film illustrates two love stories with Soham Chakraborty & Mimi Chakraborty playing the characters in one of the stories and Abir Chatterjee and Payel Sarkar playing the other characters. The film was initially titled `Prem Amar 2` but eventually the director changed the name because of the entry of two new characters and a different story. Arindom Chatterjee has composed the music for `Bojhena Shey Bojhena`

Indu comes across a daring cop ACP Bose when she is on a field trip with her friends. She gets friendly with his daughter Pinky who tells her that she would get her introduced to her uncle Surya and they would make a good pair. Surya happens to study in Indu`s college and soon after that they accidentally come to know each other and get close. Meanwhile, ACP Bose investigates the case of a dreaded criminal named Section Shankar who is involved in an illegal land deal worth crores of money. Surya somehow gets involved in the case and succeeds in killing Section Shankar under the supervision of the new D.I.G who supports him wholeheartedly.
