Jeeta and Mitha are first cousins who live next door to each other. Jeeta doesn`t want to lie about owning a big house so he declines a marriage proposal but when he sees the girl, he falls in love. But when a lie about a property is discovered, the brothers embark on a mission to expose pitfalls within government rules.

Bhalwan Singh, the main protagonist of the story is desperate to stand against the British Empire, but he is not sure how to do it. Whilst he tries hard, all his efforts go in vain and he even fails to impress the girl of his dreams. Slowly, Bhalwan Singh and his friend, Dittu decide to take things into their own hands and kidnap a British architect. Soon, things start to fall in place for the duo in the most funny way and Bhalwan gets noticed that he yearns for.

Mitti Na Pharol Jogiya is a Punjabi film written and diected by Avtar Singh. The story of the film revolves around the emotions of love and anger, and the impact of partition on common life.
