Read more →Joji, a motorcycle enthusiast is the youngest son of a well-known man named Kora Sahib. When Joji is falsely accused of murder, he tries to prove his innocence with the support of his father. Thomas Kora(Innocent)aged 80, who is the head of a famous family of the middle Travancore region. Residing in the estate bungalow at Peermade, he never looks more than sixty. Once the favourite henchman of Henry Sayip, Kora was presented this bungalow and estate when Henry went back to England. Thereafter people started calling him, Kora Sahib. Kora has five sons and two daughters. His youngest son Joji(Saiju Kurup), was born on the fifty sixth birth day of Kora. Since Joji was born after the golden jubilee year of Kora, he was popularly called by the neighbours as Jubilee. An automobile engineer by profession, he was also a specialist in motor cycle races, but an immature adult who can't keep serious relationships, taking life as it comes, and was already on his way to some kind of trouble, all the time. Kora had a special liking to his youngest son, who at a point of time falls into clearly planned allegation of a murder. As police trace Joji, Kora has nothing else to do but to offer him all protection and to save him from the associated scandal. Joji, in the midst of all the police-firings, takes revenge on the people who deceived him.

Devanarayanan (Mohanlal) is a Brahmin priest, who has to look after the entire family. He is in love with Shobana but her father Innocent is against their relationship. M.G Soman falsely accuses Mohanlal, of the theft of "Temple thiruvabharana" and forces him to leave his village in Kerala. He reaches Bombay where he gets shelter from Balan. K. Nair and family, who runs a tea shop. Monisha is the daughter of Balan. K. Nair. Some turn of events draws Mohanlal into the underworld and he becomes the trusted aide of the ageing don Kareem (Goga Kapoor). Ramya Krishnan, who is working for the same gang, gets closer to Mohanlal. Jhonny, from the same gang, joins hands together with rival don ( Sharat Saxena ) and Kareem's son and daughter-in-law, Monisha are killed leaving Kareem on a path towards religion and leaving all underworld business. Sharat Saxena plans to leave Bombay, but Mohanlal gets him arrested. Later he proves his innocence to his father. But that time Sharat Saxena killed Ramya Krishnan. In climax, Mohanlal killed the villain. —arun Mohanlal plays a Brahmin priest who is falsely accused of theft and forced to leave his village in Kerala. He moves to Bombay where he gets drawn into the underworld through an ageing don Kareem (Goga Kapoor). Some interesting comment initially on Brahmin priesthood in Kerala, but halfway through the film goes haywire. Beware of a completely unnecessary added plot in the last half hour. —Joyojeet Pal
