The film is an anthology with adaptations of stories written by renowned Malayalam fiction writers Basheer, M. T. Vasudevan Nair and Madhavikutty (Kamala Surayya). The stories upon which the film is based has not been revealed yet. The stories have been tweaked to fit in a modern setting and the script has been conceived by the director himself.

Malavika waits for her lover, Anand, to register their marriage at the registrar office. However, he fails to turn up while her friend, Joji, accompanies her. When Malavika (Nandana) is stood up on the day of her wedding, her photographer friend, Joji becomes the good Samaritan lending her a helping hand to get through such a difficult time. Two competing aristocrats wants to get their respective daughters married to a millionaire, while two con-men make use of the situation. Confusion and chaos ensue.

After receiving a prediction that he will get rich soon, Gopi finds a discarded suitcase containing gold bars and decides to keep it. However, it soon brings trouble to him and his family. Gopi (Jagadish) get's a reading from a fortune teller that he will become very rich soon. While returning from work one day, a suitcase discarded by some criminals who are being chased by cops comes into Gopi's possession by accident. The suitcase turns out to be filled with gold bars. Gopi thinks this new found wealth will change his life for the better, but it leads to bad luck for him and his family. —Jojo Mathews
