Philips And The Monkey Pen is about Roy Philip and his son, Regen Philip. They own a very rare pen, called the Monkey Pen which was gifted to Regen by his grandfather, Richard Philip. The plot describes the emotional attachment of the boy towards the pen.

Dileep and Premkumar are traveling on the same bus and start up a friendly conversation. Premkumar says that he is going back to his childhood village for the first time since he ran away as a child. Also that his family hasn't seen him since , that he only communicates to them through letters ,and that he hasn't sent them no photos so that it will be a suspense when he comes. Premkumar tells Dileep that he has a good job abroad now and is rich and is bringing a suitcase full of money back to his wealthy family. On a bus rest stop Dileep pushes Premkumar off a cliff , take all of his belongings and tries going in his place. But Dileep soon finds out things are not as he expected. —Jojo Mathews
