About the creation of the film "Andrey Rublev", about its deep philosophical and artistic meaning, the figure of Andrey Rublev himself and the influence of the great icon painter on the work of Andrey Tarkovskiy. When creating the film, chronicles and photographs from the archives of the Cinema Museum, materials from the director's personal archive, as well as unique fragments from the director's version of "Andrey Rublev", which viewers will see for the first time, were used.

Viola Hastings (Amanda Bynes) is a high school soccer player at Cornwall, which has just cut its girls' soccer team. Viola is into sports and is really passionate about football. Viola is dating Justin, a fellow soccer player on the boy's team. Viola knows that she plays better than half the boys on the team. After her request to join the boys' team is refused by the misogynistic coach Pistonek (Robert Torti), she finds a way to play for Cornwall's rival, Illyria. Viola breaks up with Justin when he laughs at her idea of trying out for the boy's team. Viola's twin brother, Sebastian (James Kirk), is supposed to enter Illyria as a new student, and since he is instead going to a contest in London with his fledgling band, Sebastian asks Viola to cover for him by telling the school that he is sick and each of their parents (who are divorced) Daphne (Julie Hagerty) and Roger (John Pyper-Ferguson) thinks that he is staying with the other. Viola is not thrilled about the idea as Sabastian just got kicked out of Cornwall for skipping. Sebastian is dating Monique (Alex Breckenridge). Daphne wants Viola to attend the debutante pageant, which she believes is archaic. Viola instead decides to pass herself off as Sebastian and join the boys' soccer team at Illyria. Illyria is coached by Dinklage (Vinnie Jones). She hopes to beat the Cornwall team and humiliate her sexist goalie ex-boyfriend, Justin (Robert Hoffman) who plays for the rival team. With the help of her stylist friend Paul (Jonathan Sadowski) and her girlfriends, Viola becomes the quirky "Sebastian". At Illyria, Viola's roommate is Duke Orsino (Channing Tatum), a good-looking striker on the soccer team. Duke finds tampons in "Sebastian's" backpack, which he says is for nose bleeds. Try-outs see Viola assigned to second string, much to her dismay. "Sebastian" avoids removing his shirt on the playground by saying that he is allergic to the sun. "Sebastian" is taken a ragging event for soccer newbies, and he only escapes by triggering the fire alarm. Everybody thinks that "Sebastian" is a dork, so Viola asks her friends Kia (Amanda Crew) and Yvonne (Jessica Lucas) to dress provocatively and flirt with "Sebastian" shamelessly, to improve his image in front of the guys. But then Monique comes looking for Sebastian, and "Sebastian" has to run away. Meanwhile, "Sebastian's" lab partner, Olivia (Laura Ramsey), develops a crush on him, which frustrates Duke, who likes Olivia. In exchange for "Sebastian's" help in getting Olivia's attention, Duke agrees to put in extra soccer practice time with him. Coach Dinklage eventually moves "Sebastian" up to first string, and he is delighted. Meanwhile "Sebastian" realizes that Duke is not good with talking to girls. "Sebastian" helps Duke in having a casual conversation with any girl. "Sebastian" is reminded, by a message from his mother, about the Junior League carnival that the siblings promised to attend. Since Duke's mother is also a part of the Junior League, he must go as well. "Sebastian" is forced to switch between herself (Viola) and Sebastian the whole time, while trying to avoid her mother and Monique so that she is not discovered as impersonating her brother. Viola is trying to run around and do both her and her brother's jobs at the carnival. Duke misses his chance with Olivia when her shift is up at the kissing booth. He is not disappointed by her replacement, who turns out to be "Sebastian's" sister, Viola. Duke and Viola meet for the first time and exchange their kiss at the kissing booth, only to be interrupted by Viola's ex-boyfriend, Justin. Duke and Justin get into a fight and decide they will finish the battle on the soccer field. Duke realizes he might be crushing not only on Olivia, but on Viola as well. "Sebastian" tells Duke to go after Viola. "Sebastian" had told Olivia that she is not his type. Olivia goes on a date with Duke to make "Sebastian" jealous, remaining far more interested in him than in Duke. Duke is smitten with Olivia and agrees to go on a date with her, despite "Sebastian" reminding him to call Viola instead. "Sebastian" barges in by convincing Olivia to do a double date with him and Eunice, and Olivia and Duke. Encouraged by Viola (who meets Olivia at a preparation session for the debutante's ball), Olivia decides to go directly to "Sebastian" and tell him how she feels. Monique and Olivia end up in a big fight when Olivia taunts her that Sebastian dumped Monique. Things become complicated when the real Sebastian returns from London a day early. Sebastian had left Monique a message that he was in London but is heading home. This makes Monique wonder about who has been masquerading Sebastian all this while. When he arrives at Illyria, Olivia runs up and kisses him. Duke, seeing this, believes his roommate has betrayed him and after arguing with "Sebastian" kicks him out. Viola stays in Eunice's room and oversleeps, causing the real Sebastian to wind up on the field playing in what should be his sister's spot in the next day's much-anticipated game against Cornwall. Principal Gold (David Cross), who has been told of Viola's impersonating Sebastian by two students, Monique, and Malcolm, halts the game and informs the crowd that Sebastian is a girl. The real Sebastian being present instead, he proves himself to be male by pulling down his shorts and exposing his genitals. At half-time, Viola explains the situation to Sebastian, and they switch places again. Later on, in the game Viola explains that she has been impersonating her brother, finally convincing Duke and everyone else by showing them her breasts. The coach agrees to let Viola keep playing anyway, sternly informing the Cornwall coach that Illyria doesn't discriminate based on gender and he calls out the coach for his sexist ways. Illyria wins the game on a penalty kick when Viola scores a goal (after a save and then pass from Duke) pass her ex-boyfriend Justin. Everyone at Illyria celebrates their victory over Cornwall, except for Duke who is hurt at Viola's deception. She invites Duke to her debutante ball. They meet in a garden and head to the Debutante ball, where they are introduced, come on stage, and kiss. At the end of the film, Viola and Duke are shown playing on the soccer team of Illyria a year later, both on the first string.

Paul Morse (Jason Lee) (Brother Pete Morse (Thomas Lennon), friend Jim (Shawn Hatosy), father Buck Morse (David Koechner) and Mother Dorothy Morse (Julie Hagerty)) and Karen Cooper (Selma Blair) (Mom Sandra Cooper (Diana Scarwid) and dad Ken Cooper (James Brolin)) are about to get married in Seattle. During his bachelor party, Paul has a chat with one of the dancers at the party, Becky Jackson (Julia Stiles), and they find that they have an affinity for each other. Paul wakes up the next morning and is terrified to see Becky in the bed next to him. Assuming they slept together, Paul rushes Becky out of his apartment and hopes never to see her again. He tries to cover up the connection for the few days before the wedding. Karen is due to arrive at the apartment and to save himself, Paul hides Becky's underwear in the toilet tank. Unfortunately, Becky unexpectedly shows up around town (she is the toll booth collector) and turns out to be Karen's cousin. Ken is upset that Paul didn't invite him to his bachelor's party. Paul works as a marketing exec in Ken's company. Paul realizes that he has crabs and has horrendous itching in his crotch. He visits the pharmacy to get some medicines. He runs into Sandra at the pharmacy. To save his ass, the pharmacist Jeff (Fred Ewanuick) lies that he is a chef and cooked crabs for Paul. Sandra books Jeff to cook the rehearsal dinner for 20 people. At a general family dinner, Paul sees Becky and realizes she is a cousin of Karen. He tries very hard to hide in the bathroom and escape via the trees but trips the car alarm and can't escape. He pretends to have diarrhea to avoid coming out of the bathroom, but Becky circles back to pick her purse (by then Paul was out of bathroom) and both are introduced to each other. The next day Paul tracks Becky down at a music store where Becky tells him that they didn't have sex (he passed out with his pants around his ankles). Becky also says that Paul didn't get the crabs from her, and maybe from the use of a public toilet seat. Even worse, Becky's malicious ex-boyfriend cop Ray Donovan (Lochlyn Munro) had Becky followed and photographed. Ray confronts Paul and asks him to stay away from Becky and reveals that existence of those pics. Karen finds the underwear in the toilet tank and confronts Paul about it. Paul says that it was a gift for her. Karen points out that the underwear is dirty, and Paul complains that the store sold him dirty underwear. Karen confronts the store, who figure out the issue and lie to Karen that some kids played a prank and put dirty underwear in their underwear bins. Minister Ferris (Larry Miller) is Paul's, neighbor and dislikes him as he saw Becky rushing out of his apartment that morning. He also accuses Paul of corrupting his son with pornographic photos, which Paul hides in his crotch as Karen was in his apartment. Paul tries to burn the photos and throws them out of the bathroom window, only for Minister's son to again pick them up and the minister again confronting Paul with a bunch of half burnt photos. Intermittently it is implied that Pete loves Karen and is in awe of her. Pete is divorced and is jealous that Paul is marrying Karen. Becky and Paul meet again to steal those pictures from Ray's apartment. They are confronted by Ray's dog, and they have to hide in his shower. They manage to trap the dog, find the photos and escape via the fire escape stairs. Paul realizes that he is more adventurous and wilder when he is with Becky, who brings out the best in him. Ray arrests Paul after he drops Becky. But at the station, Paul is taken in by internal affairs people, who want Paul to wear a wire to implicate Ray, whom they have been tracking. Paul goes to his rehearsal dinner and tells Becky that the police have put a wire on him to collect evidence against Ray. Meanwhile Jeff, the pharmacist, whom Sandra hired to be the caterer mixes pot in every dish and the entire party gets high. Pete gives an emotional toast where he betrays his feelings for Karen. Karen and Pete remember how they first met each other at a bar. Pete laments that at the time he was married, and Karen got hitched to Paul. Paul returns to his apartment and finds Ray waiting for him. Ray admits that he planted evidence and the internal affairs team moves in on them. The wedding day arrives, and Paul hyperventilates in the toilet with Pete and recounts all the events of the last 7 days. When Pete leaves, Ken emerges from the bathroom. Ken says, "its a guy thing", it happens and tells Paul to move on. Turns out Minister Ferris is going to marry them as their regular priest got sick at the rehearsal dinner. Ferris is totally against Paul marrying Karen. He asks the gathering is anyone believes Paul and Karen shouldn't get married. Paul himself steps up and recounts the events of the last 7 days. He says he doesn't want to marry Karen. Pete steps up and proposes to Karen. Karen accepts. Paul pursues Becky and they hook up.

When he gets a job disappointment, David convinces Linda that they should quit their jobs, liquidate their assets, and emulate the movie Easy Rider, spending the rest of their lives travelling around America...in a Winnebago! (This is a kind of large, luxurious mobile home which suits a 1980's yuppie more than the counterculture dropout approach of Easy Rider.)
