Housefull 2, The Dirty Dozen is the second superstar packed instalment in the Housefull franchise. A completely new story with new characters and a new star cast, Housefull2 is bigger than its predecessor in every aspect. It is the story of four fathers, four daughters and four prospective son-in-laws and as the second half of the tile suggests, they are the dirty dozen. Each father wants his daughter to marry the richest son-in-law, each daughter thinks she is marrying the richest son-in-law, each son-in-law is pretending to be the richest son-in-law. Each character is flawed, unscrupulous and extremely entertaining. The good news for the audience is that none of these people can stand each other and all of them are under one roof, in one house as the first half of the title suggests HOUSEFULL.

When Anjana (Navya Nair) returns to town now as a foreigner after staying abroad with her parents, she is desperate to take revenge on Pavan, because Pavan used to tease her causing her to drop out of her engineering degree course. But somewhere along the line her feelings toward Pavan turn into love. And as Anjana also gets closer to Menon, Menon starts to dream of her being his daughter-in-law. With a sudden twist in the movie, Sreedevi (Jayasudha) who is Anjana's guardian turns out to be Menon's adolescent love. Navya and Pavan try to reunite them, leading to many comical scenes, and an enjoyable film. —Priya
