Almost all the characters in `Vasool Raja `constantly think about money and are greedy for it. This has been depicted comically, Navadeep essays the role of a thief and Srihari plays the role of a cop. The relation between the two of them forms the film`s plot. The film also stars Rithu Barmecha and Karthikeya Gopalakrihna has directed it. Batthula Rathanpaandu and Mahankali Divakar have produced it under the BM Studios banner. Ramaswamy has written the film`s dialogues and Chinni Charan has composed the music for `Vasool Raja`.

This movie has a vintage car at the center of its plot. The car automatically transforms into a vehicle with latest gadgets and advance features. The car is the protagonist of the film.

Malaikottai is the story of a young lad, Anbu (Vishal), who comes to Trichy where he sees and falls in love with a beautiful girl (Motta Madi). Meanwhile, Trichy city is run by a powerful politician Palani (Devaraj) and his brother Guna (Ajay), who have killed the local RDO in cold blood watched by a huge crowd of onlookers.
