A hilarious rollercoaster ride, the movie is based on a rumour that spreads like wildfire in a village called Wagherya and how the lives of its residents centres around it.

Kaustubh is an innocent little boy who loves to live in an imaginative world full of wonders and adventures. The tales that his grandma, Aaji tells him is the base on which he has built a few fantasies. The Dashavtar tales from Indian mythology are his favourite. Kaustubh has also learnt through these tales that Lord Vishnu`s tenth avatar, the Kalki avatar is going to be in Kalyuga, the modern era we are in. Kaustubh, who is in the fourth standard, believes that he himself is the Kalki avatar. The story is about how this belief affects his life and confidence going forward.

Dhudgus, meaning chaos, speaks of human greed and how people try to exploit and take advantage of situations. A young bride loses her soldier husband, and thereby is believed to have brought misfortune to the family. The in-laws and parents disown her, leaving her with nowhere to go. But when the government decides to award her compensation for the death of her husband, things suddenly change.
