This classic who-dunnit follows the mystery of psychiatrist Pranabendra Dasgupta`s death at his own party, after which all the guests come under suspicion one by one.

The story of the film revolves around a cursed nighty - the original owner of the nighty had experienced unfulfilled love, which ultimately led to a curse on it. A wannabe actress comes to Kolkata from a village in pursue of her career. She is willing to cross all limits in order to become successful. She uses the nighty for seducing producers and has no regrets. The events that take place later form the climax of the story.

An epic adventure inspired from two fascinating tales by Mr. Samaresh Basu- `Rai Raja Udhhar` & `Mohish Mordini Udhhar`. It has been shot in the scenic locales of rural Bengal where a bag of mixed events take place right from the study of a historian about the Maharaja and the Zamindars by Joy who is lovingly called Magic Dada, to the eccentric preparations of the Mohish Mardini Pujas whose idol gets lost. Indu comes across a daring cop ACP Bose when she is on a field trip with her friends. She gets friendly with his daughter Pinky who tells her that she would get her introduced to her uncle Surya and they would make a good pair. Surya happens to study in Indu`s college and soon after that they accidentally come to know each other and get close. Meanwhile, ACP Bose investigates the case of a dreaded criminal named Section Shankar who is involved in an illegal land deal worth crores of money. Surya somehow gets involved in the case and succeeds in killing Section Shankar under the supervision of the new D.I.G who supports him wholeheartedly.

The story revolves around the lives of Indians living abroad who often tends to adapt to foreign cultures as their own while consciously or unconsciously forgetting the rich traditions back home. Anna (Subhashree), an NRI brought up in London is brought to India by her father on the occasion of Durga Puja, with plans of getting her married to Dev. Anna is already in love with a half Brit man. It is the story of student Jeet, who arrives in the city with his parents and sister after changing residences. Their struggle for existence begins from that very moment. Everyone is terrified of Vishnu (Ashish Vidyarthi), the local don, and it turns out that Deva (Rishi Kaushik), the Don's younger brother, studies in the same college as Jeet. Deva is the biggest troublemaker in the college along with his gang, and nothing stops them from creating trouble, including teasing and passing coarse comments at girls. Jeet tries to take control of the situation, meaning that he clashes with Deva on many occasions and beats up a few of his key associates. In retaliation Vishnu's men cause havoc by raping Jeet's elder sister Debosree (Locket Chatterjee) , killing his close friend from college Iqbal (Biswanath Basu), and finally killing his father (Bodhisatwa Majumdar) . All these incidents have a tremendous impact on Jeet, who decides to kill Vishnu at any cost. He achieves success at the end of the film when he kills Deva, then finishes off Vishnu and takes his revenge.
