Bhoomi is a social drama set in a village, revolving around a NASA scientist with big ideas who becomes a farmer fighting for a cause.

Two journalists, Sanjay and Madhurya who are working for different channels, under certain circumstances come together to cover a live war. During their stint of covering the war, a series of events unfold, which change their lives and also alter their destinies forever.

The film is touted to be a laugh riot and is a story that revolves around five characters who meet each other in a liquior joint and what follows is the series of events that take place thereafter. The film addresses a much known issue of drinking.

Nanban is comedy drama film directed by S. Shankar featuring an ensemble cast that includes Vijay, Jeeva, Srikanth, Sathyaraj and Ileana D`Cruz. The soundtrack and background score is by Harris Jayaraj, working with Shankar for the second time after Anniyan (2005). It is a remake of the 2009 Bollywood blockbuster film 3 Idiots, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, which was adapted from the novel Five Point Someone by Chetan Bhagat.
