Pambattam is a Tamil movie starring Jeevan Rangaraj, Mallika Sherawat, Suman, Salil Ankola and Rittika Sen in prominent roles. It is written and directed by V.C. Vadivudaiyan.

The film investigates the sensational affair between a dancer and a powerful politician. When their relationship is exposed in public, it causes a big scandal that threatens the entire government. What happens next?

Tezz is one man`s fight to get back what was taken away from him unjustly while the other man will do whatever it takes to stop him from succeeding in his mission. Both men are set in opposition to each other and both are equally fighting against time. Many lives have already been destroyed and a few more could be at stake as a speeding train running between Glasgow and London holds the fate of Aakash Rana and Counter Terrorism Commandant Arjun Khanna, and only one of them will succeed in this operation.

The four good-for- nothing jokers from Dhamaal are back again! They are still as stupid and useless as before. Hard work is a strict no no and the only work they have ever done in their lives is to lie down on their backsides and dream about a good life. And then suddenly they see their old arch enemy - the corrupt Inspector Kabir (Sanjay Dutt). But he is no longer a cop and instead of chasing crooks, he`s chasing money - driving a Merc and has a posh office and a lavish villa. The four madcaps are green with envy and decide that come what may, by hook or by crook they will share Kabir`s good fortune. And so they blackmail Kabir into making them his business partners. What they don`t know is that soon their dreams are going to turn into nightmares because Kabir has his own hidden agenda, only shared by his sultry wife Kamini (Mallika Sherawat) and lovely sister Kiya (Kangna Ranaut).And so starts a game of one- up- manship, with both sides having tricks up their sleeves and where sundry characters like bhai turned sadhu - Batabhai (Satish Kaushik) and King of Casinos Johnny Bonzola, turn up to make the foursome`s life miserable. And of course there`s a helluva lot of money at stake. There are also lots of twists and turns and a bellyful of laughs. But who will have the last laugh? Canny Kabir or our four loveable jokers?

Over 4000 years ago the inhabitants of the Indus Valley sculpted the image of the shape shifting snake. These half cobras, half human creatures were said to inhabit an awesome, mysterious temple, made of material unknown to mankind, deep within the jungles, far, far away in the legendary spice forests of the Malabar Coast. It is the year 2008, an American man, named George, packing high tech gear, and evil intentions, makes the arduous journey into the heart of the forbidden forest. He captures a male cobra the size of a large python when he`s at his weakest, while mating. Little does he realize when they embark on testing this mysterious creature in their high-tech lab, what horror and destruction awaits him....

Sid (Rahul Bose) plays a short, thirty something DJ, who finds himself playing music at Trisha's (Mallika Sherawat's) marriage to Vivek (Jas Arora) in Delhi. However, he witnesses her fight her sense of responsibility and duty towards her parents and the groom, and runs away. Narayanan "Nanu" Iyer (Ranvir Shorey) is Sid's best friend. Shalini (Tarana Raja) is Sid's sister, married to Kapil (Aamir Bashir). Shalini and Kapil have typical married couple fights over trivial matters and Sid is a witness to all that.. Nina Manuel (Sapna Bhavnani) was Nanu's girlfriend. She broke up with Nanu as he had a filthy habit of not taking baths or changing underwear for days. Now she is getting married to someone else. Nanu still loves Nina. Nanu runs a bar, as he always dreamed. Six months later, he meets her again at a DJ competition in Mumbai, which he has just lost, yet again. Before you know it, they're in a relationship (they start with some casual dating, where they end up making fun of each other. Sid is short and Trisha is a typical "delhi" girl) (They both think they wont last as a couple beyond a month), and three years have passed. Trisha thinks she is ready for marriage, and gets down on her knee to propose to Sid. Sid suffering from the typical commitment phobia, is at a loss for a reasonable answer. Nanu also tells Sid that Trisha is not going to abandon her training "investment" in Sid for the last 3 yrs. Sid's mother advises him to marry Trisha asap, as she is taller and at least the kids will be of good height. Anjali (Dracula) (Suchitra Pillai-Malik) is Trisha's friend who hates Sid. Sid tries to win the argument with Trisha, but she ends up crying. In a bid to not lose her, Sid finds himself engaged. But along with the engagement comes a new set of problems - such as shopping for furniture for their home, thinking about kids (and their names. Trisha is upset when Trisha thinks he is not ready to have kids) engagement rings (Shalini wanted Sid to buy an expensive ring, but Trisha had said that she will wear whatever Sid buys. So Sid buys a practical, cheaper engagement ring. This makes Trisha upset and she returns to the store to exchange the ring for an expensive one), and more importantly facing the father of the bride! The father Retd. Major Gen. Veera Bhadra Mallik (Sharat Saxena) has more than one problem with Sid. He doesn't have a future (as a DJ), he earns a lot less than Trisha, and he doesn't seem responsible enough. Sid spends the night at Major Mallik's house, sleeping on his sofa (with a plastic sheet on it).. The next morning Mallik wakes him up really early and takes him jogging. Mallik tries to talk Sid out of marrying Trisha and the same afternoon he takes everyone to meet Vivek (who has just returned from US and has become the youngest COO in all of AP).. at a game of golf, Mallik needles Sid to play and Sid doesn't hit the ball, and his club flies out of his hand and into Mallik car Over an altercation Sid has with Mr Mallik (Sid tells Trisha that her dad cant accept whats happening in her life and Mallik counters that Sid cant understand the role of a father as his own dad abandoned his family when he was a kid), the couple break up. Vivek, Trisha's ex-husband-to-be, is waiting in the wings, to help her broken heart mend. Sid on the other hand, finds himself being wooed by item girl, Tanya (Sophie Choudry), star of the 'Baby Girl vol. 3' video. Sid had run into Tanya at Nanu's bar where he was DJing. Tanya wants Sid to help her produce her next dance video. Tanya asks Sid to come up to her place for "coffee" and he refuses. Nanu is really angry at Sid for passing up on this chance. The next time Sid takes the invite and goes for coffee, but he gets psyched out and cant go through with it.. Shalini finds out and tells Sid that he has to be friends with Trisha, before he can have "coffee" with anyone else.. After a few amusing run-ins (Sid tries to figure out how much has Trisha shopped for (Rs 10500) to get over him), an attempt to be just-friends (Sid visits Trisha on her birthday only to find that Vivek has thrown a big party for her. Trisha tells Sid that she is marrying Vivek in a month) (Sid proposes a dinner between the 4 of them.. its a disaster as Tanya starts choking on her food and Vivek saves her life with the Heimlich maneuver), and a sad-song ("Jaane Kya" sung by Zubin), Sid, finally realizes, thanks to his mother, that his commitment phobia is the result of a childhood scar. His father abandoned Sid and his mother, when Sid was very young. His mother reassures him, that he is nothing like his father, and would make a great husband. Tanya tells Sid that he can never have coffee with anyone other than Trisha, as he is totally committed to her. But it's too late, Trisha has already agreed to marry Vivek. This leads him to Trisha's dear friend Anjali (Suchitra Pillai), who reminds him of Dracula because she always attacks him, for making Trisha unhappy. She helps him crash Trisha's wedding party (by smuggling him inside a big box furniture). The climax builds up, as Sid's job involves not just convincing Trisha that his hang-ups have abated, but also avoid a deadly confrontation with Trisha's father. Trisha wants Sid to make her run away from the wedding, but then she has to take charge as "Mumbai" boys are useless and cant even run away a bride from her wedding. This movie appears to be based on the Hollywood movie High Fidelity High Fidelity (film).

Rukmini is well into her early 40s and is still unmarried. She decides to let her orphaned niece, Padmini, live with her, and together they device a scheme to entrap wealthy men, relieve them of their money, abandon them, and move on to better targets. They do succeed for quite a while, assuming various disguises, and names, amassing a vast fortune, until Padmini falls in love with one of her targets, a young man named Raghu, and decides to call it quits. An unstable Rukmini, who owes money to Monty, decides she cannot go it alone and concocts a scheme that will force Padmini to give up on Raghu and re-join forces with her to go on philandering unsuspecting wealthy men. Rukmini's first move is to seduce an equally unsuspecting Raghu and ensure that Padmini is a witness to this. Amar Ranawat sits alone on the side of a lake and remembers the 5 years he spent with Lekha. Amar ponders whether it is better to have loved and lost, or never to have loved in the first place. Amar (Himanshu Malik) was rich, stubborn, and serious. He meets Lekha Khorzuvekar (Mallika Sherawat) in a shop. Amar wanted to buy only the bottoms of a pajama set and was arguing with the store, who would only sell the whole set. The salesman argues that if he sells the bottom to Amar, the top would be useless for the shop. The matter is escalated all the way to the owner of the shop, who orders not to sell the bottom alone to Amar. Lekha steps in and offers to buy the top, so Amar can have the bottoms. But then they argue over the design (Lekha wanted colorful checks, while Amar wanted stripes), the color of the night suit, and even how to split the cost as Lekha argues that bottoms are worth more than the top. She even argues that the plain design they selected is costing a full Rs 60 more than the checks design and says that for the poor, Rs 60 is a lot. The shop offers to reduce the price from Rs 440 to Rs 415 and Lekha agrees to pay Rs 200, and Amar has to fork out Rs 215. While Lekha is poor, the daughter of chicken farmer, she is a happy, frank, and straightforward girl. Their tastes don't match (She likes classical music, and he is into Go-Karting) and Lekha is very value conscious, while for Amar, money means nothing. She calls him Sethji. Amar and Lekha study in the same college in Pune. They spend time together and start dating as they are also physically attracted to each other. They finally fall in love. They start kissing regularly (most of their make-out sessions take place by the side of a lake), but Lekha wants to wait till after marriage to get to 2nd and 3rd base. Lekha tries to explain while the society considers a man to be a stud, but a woman having extra-marital sex is considered to be of loose morals. Amar wants to use his passion for Go-Karting to become a professional race car driver, but his father is not at all supportive of Amar's plans. Amar calls his own father "sir", who wants him to do an MBA after college. Lekha and Amar agree to focus on their upcoming exams and decide not to meet other so regularly. After the exams, Amar cannot take the separation and proposes to Lekha after she declares that she is going home for a few months. Amar goes with Lekha to her village. Her father Ulhas (Mahmud Babai) befriends Amar and accepts the marriage. Ulhas celebrates the occasion by sharing a drink with Amar. But Ulhas has to hide the booze in the bathroom as Lekha does not approve of Ulhas's drinking. However, Amar's father Prithviraj (Shivaji Satham) wants him to complete his studies first before getting married. Amar takes Lekha to meet his parents. While Ulhas was warm and inviting, Amar's parents are cold and distanced. They are not impressed that Lekha's father is a chicken farmer with 5000 chickens. Amar breaks contact with his father & Mother Sobha and marries Lekha. Lekha thinks Amar is using her to stand up to his father. But Amar says he only loves Lekha. Amar's father cuts him off from his inheritance. Amar does not want money from his father to complete his MBA, but no bank would give him a loan unless it is co-signed by his father. Lekha decides to give up her singing career to support Amar financially while he completes his MBA. She asks her father for a low-key wedding and to save every penny possible for her future life. Ulhas is supportive. He spends Rs 25,000 on the wedding and gives Rs 1.25 Lakhs to Lekha as a wedding gift. But Ulhas is not happy as he wanted the wedding to be performed with the proper rituals and by completing his obligations to society. When the village comes to know, they all contribute their time and labor to reduce the expense of the wedding. Their friends send them to their honeymoon in Himanchal. Amar is shy, so Lekha buys her own condoms for their first night. The married couple move into their new little home at a Chawl and spend days of happiness and good times. Amar's mother Shobha accepts Lekha as her daughter in law and gives her some jewels. Shobha is also a fan of RD Burman just as Lekha is. Shobha invites Amar and Lekha to Amar's dad 60th Birthday. Lekha convinces Amar to attend his dad's Birthday party, but he flatly refuses. When Lekha insists, this leads to their first fight. Amar is livid with Lekha for contacting his parents and threatens her to remain out of his life with his parents. Finally, Amar completes his education and gets a job, and they move into a new, bigger house. But soon, Lekha starts complaining about their sexless life as Amar gets busy with his job and career. Amar and Lekha decide to have a kid. But they are unable to conceive, and medical reports indicate Lekha has leukemia. The doctor advises Amar not to divulge this to Lekha and to be as normal as possible. Amar informs Ulhas, who is heartbroken. Amar takes a loan of Rs 5 Lakhs from his father to keep Lekha happy in her final days. But Lekha doesn't want to spend money in London or Paris which Amar proposed. They go to Kerala instead. Lekha reveals that she knows the truth. Amar consults a US specialist, who is also unable to help them. He gives some medications to reduce the pain. In the end Lekha wants to be cremated in an electrical furnace, to be environmentally conscious even in her death. She wants Amar to remarry & eventually Lekha dies. Amar's father apologizes to Amar and invites him back home.

Pinky alias Pooja Malhotra (Kareena Kapoor) and Karan (Tusshar Kapoor) are childhood sweethearts. During this time they exchange vows that they will live for each other only. They separate shortly after but they do not forget their vows. Pooja frantically searches for her sweetheart, but to no avail. She finally decides to write her own story in a the form of a love story.
