Mamukkoya

Kuruthi is a socio-political thriller film that explores the deep complexes of the human mind.

Anjaneya Das, a former wrestler, is forcefully sent off to Punjab University by his father, who is an avid wrestler. While pursuing his M-Tech at the university, he meets Aditi, a passionate wrestler. Soon, the two find themselves making their way to Kerala, where a new series of kushti begins.

The film is an anthology with adaptations of stories written by renowned Malayalam fiction writers Basheer, M. T. Vasudevan Nair and Madhavikutty (Kamala Surayya). The stories upon which the film is based has not been revealed yet. The stories have been tweaked to fit in a modern setting and the script has been conceived by the director himself.

The film revolves around Balan, a village boy`s struggle to stay in a city and his tussle with the bureaucracy. `Vallatha-Pahayan` is a satire that stars Manikandan Pattambi, Rachna, Niyas, Vinod Kovoor, Sreekumar and SnehaJanardhanan. The film has been directed by Rasak Mohammed and Niyas Bakar under the Galaxy Films banner.
