Dan was a food delivery person for Anna and her brother, Conrad. Conrad was dying of pancreatic cancer. Dan made a big presentation for the food when he delivered the food. He made Anna laughed and they were smitten with each other. After Conrad died, Dan came to make a food delivery. During his presentation, Anna started to cry. Dan came into the house, sat with Anna and they began to talk. Dan asked her what she was going to do now that Conrad was gone....where would she go? Anna said that she wasn't going to leave because it was her home. She asked Dan why didn't he leave and just run away? He told her, isn't it obvious? Anna got up, ran out of the room, then ran back in with a brown paper bag full of a substantial amount of money. She told him to take the money and runaway. She also said that she had more than enough when he protested saying that he couldn't take the money. Dan left without the money. Anna was getting dressed for Conrad's funeral and realized that she couldn't leave the house. Her agoraphobia took over. She was in the process of making tea when she heard a vehicle pull up. She looked out the front window and saw 3 guys get out of a pickup. 1 of the guys went to the back door and broke the glass on the door to get in. Anna hid under the kitchen table. One of the guys said we know what we're looking for, she is gone for a while. One guy was the younger brother of one of the 3. One guy was a complete psychopath. He wanted to kill Anna from the beginning. He was the one that dragged her outside on the front porch. Anna was kicking and screaming the entire time. She urinated on herself while PJ was trying to calm her down. He picked her up and handed her off to his younger brother to get cleaned up. He took her upstairs and was trying to make her get changed and Dan came in. He yelled at the guy saying what are you doing. The guy said Dan's name which let Anna know that they knew one another. Anna ran away from them into a different area. With that, the other 2 came upstairs and the psychopath punched Dan in the face knocking him unconscious. When Dan came to, his hands were tied together. The younger brother was sent looking for Anna and found her in the upstairs bathroom. The other 2 were still downstairs with Dan. They were yelling up to the younger brother asking if he got her? Anna killed him using her decorative hair comb. She dragged him down into the basement. The others heard the thumping and followed the noise where they found JP's younger brother dead. Anna did not take this home invasion lightly. She retracted the stairs into the wall, trapping JP and the psychopath in the basement. While talking to Dan, she was very cold towards him because she didn't trust him. Dan said that he didn't see her at the funeral and was worried about her. She accused him of sending people to rob her. Her told her that she had mentioned to his friend about how nice she is and how she offered the money to him. He didn't mean anything about it. She walked Dan to the entrance of the basement door and told him to turn and jump if he trusts her. He didn't jump, so she pushed him and he fell all wrong and dislocated his kneecap. Anna had more to show them. Divide and conquer. She killed the psychopath. Then got Dan and PJ locked in the same room. PJ discovered that the one room upstairs was decorated and designed the same exact way as the room they were locked in. He began to announce what he knew as the truth. Anna wanted him to be quiet. He had Dan come to the two way mirror to talk him into getting the gun she offered to him and killing PJ. Then and only then she would let him go. PJ pushed Dan out of the way, took the gun and threatened to shoot Dan since Anna had killed the other 2 men. She opened the door and allowed PJ and Dan to walk out the front door. PJ brought his little brother upstairs with them. He turned towards Dan and knocked him unconscious. PJ went into the house with gasoline to set Anna and everything on fire. She and PJ fought and he overpowered her. He dragged her back upstairs into the identical bedroom and Started choking her. Dan came and said no more killing. Anna got the gun out of the front of PJ's pants and shot him Dan and Anna walked back downstairs. Dan stood by the front door and Anna sat down in the chair. She watched the headlights of Dan's vehicle go and she stood up and walked towards the front door. She took some steps out of the door, turned towards the house, lit a lighter and threw it into the gasoline that PJ started spreading around. Anna turned away from the house and walked away as you hear sirens in the background.

`This Is The End` follows six friends trapped in a house after a series of strange and catastrophic events that devastate Los Angeles. As the world unravels outside, dwindling supplies and cabin fever threaten to tear apart their friendship inside. Eventually, they are forced to leave the house, face their fate and rediscover the true meaning of friendship and redemption.

It is the summer of 1987 and James Brennan (Jesse Eisenberg) is a recent graduate of Oberlin College who majored in Comparative Literature and Renaissance Studies. He is an aspiring journalist planning to go to Columbia University in New York. This is when his parents (Wendie Malick and Jack Gilpin) announce they won't be able to help him financially. Mr Brennan (Jack Gilpin) loses his job and transfers to a different office. He is an alcoholic, but he tries to hide his drinking from his family. Mrs Brennan (Wendie Malick) supplies the discipline of the two parents. James looks for summer jobs, but can only find one, at Adventureland, a local amusement park in his hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where his childhood friend Frigo (Matt Bush), who has a habit of punching James in the testicles, works. Although they aren't good friends anymore, James still manages to tolerate Frigo's immaturity and cruelty. James is hired by the assistant manager, Bobby (Bill Hader), and is assigned to the games area. He meets some of his co-workers: the dry and sarcastic Joel (Martin Starr) a college student studying Russian Literature and Slavic Languages, a degree which he claims will get him a job as a "cabbie, hot dog vendor," or "marijuana delivery guy.", Bobby's wife and manager of Adventureland, Paulette (Kristen Wiig) much quieter than her husband, Sue O'Malley (Paige Howard), Mark, Lisa P. (Margarita Levieva) one of the ride operators at the Adventureland park, she is a seductive girl to whom all the park's employees are attracted. Her father was injured and is now unable to work. James meets another games worker, Emily "Em" Lewin (Kristen Stewart), after she saves him from being stabbed by a disgruntled customer. Em hates her stepmother Francy (Mary Birdsong) and resents her father Mr Lewin (Josh Pais) for remarrying so soon after her mother's death from cancer. He met Francy at a temple while his first wife was slowly dying in the hospital. Em is a student at New York University majoring in Art History. She does not need to work, as her father is a rich lawyer, but she works at the theme park to get out of the house. And the park's repairs technician Mike Connell (Ryan Reynolds), who is a part-time musician & claims to have jammed with Lou Reed. Mike is married to a woman named Ronnie. He has cheated on his wife with many women, including Em. Em later invites James to a party at her house. During the party, Em invites him to join her in the pool. After the party ends, it's revealed that Em has been having an affair with Connell, although he is married. James goes out to a bar for a drink with Em, and while they are talking at the bar, Em is surprised to learn James is still a virgin. Connell arrives at the bar and Em wants to leave, so they go to one of Pittsburgh's three rivers close to one of the city's bridges where James kisses her. The following day, James tells Connell about his strong feelings for Em, which Connell reports to Em. Em later tells James she wants to take it slow. The next morning, Lisa P. asks James out on a date, but only lets a few people know. After James returns from the date, he learns Em had called to tell him that she regrets having rejected his feelings on their past date. James gives Em some of his marijuana to bake pot cookies to cheer her up. After a pot-induced game-playing streak, Joel is attacked by an angry customer who learns the games are rigged. When Em steps in, the customer pushes her and James defends her by punching him in the balls. The customer's friend starts chasing James who hides in Bobby's office, who then scares the customer off by threatening him with a baseball bat. Em tells James that she doesn't want to lose him. Joel sees them walking together and decides to quit. James tries to talk him out of it but Joel is angry at James for dating Lisa P. when he already loves Em. James wants to be honest and tells Em about the night he went out with Lisa P. Shocked by his honesty, Em goes to Connell's house that night to end their affair. Prompted by Frigo, the park's mentally challenged parking official tells James he saw Em and Connell doing "push-ups without any pants on" in the back of Connell's car a few weeks earlier. James goes to Connell's house and sees Em leaving, having just broken up with Connell. When James confronts Em, she is so shocked to see him there that she becomes tongue-tied and does not explain. James becomes angered by the assumed betrayal, and leaves after Em calls herself an "idiot". Later, James tells Lisa P. about the affair but asks her not to tell anyone. Lisa P. tells her friend Kelly, and soon everybody in the park has found out and Em quits. James is heartbroken and drunkenly crashes his dad's car into a tree and passes out. The next morning, his mother wakes him up and tells him that he has to pay to fix all the damage. After getting his last paycheck, Connell tells James that he has not spoken to Em since she quit. James doesn't have enough money to go to graduate school, but heads for New York anyway. In New York City, James waits outside Em's apartment. She's surprised to see James waiting for her and is reluctant to talk to him, feeling she has ruined everything between them. James tells her that he sees her in a different way than she sees herself, that he sees the girl who saved him from getting knifed, the girl who stood up for Joel, the girl who introduced him to psychotropic cookies, and the girl who doesn't make apologies for herself. Touched, Em brings James up to her apartment. Once there, James gets out of his wet clothes, and finds she still has an Adventureland shirt. They kiss and begin to take their clothes off as the film ends, and James presumably finally loses his virginity to Em.

For fun-loving party animal Ben Stone, the last thing he ever expected was for his one-night stand to show up on his doorstep eight weeks later to tell him she's pregnant with his child. When Alison Scott is promoted in E. Television, she goes to a night-club to celebrate with her older married sister Debbie. Alison meets the pothead reckless Ben Stone and while having a small talk with Ben, Debbie's husband Pete calls her to tell that their daughter has chicken pox. Debbie leaves the place but Alison stays with Ben, drinking and dancing along all night; completely wasted, they end up having a one night stand. Ben does not use a condom and eight weeks later, Alison discovers that she is pregnant. She calls Ben and they decide to try to stay together and have the baby. However, Ben needs to grow up first to raise a family of his own.
