Purvi is a workaholic young woman driven by career ambitions, and often lets her personal life take a backseat. However, two men who walk into her life at different points of time - Dev and Akash - will leave a lasting impact on Purvi and her perception of the world.

Set in the 1980s, the period film explores the life of Shreyas, who hails from a rich and affluent family but still has his reservations when it comes to making friends. Much against his will, his family forces him to join college, where he becomes friendly with DSP and his gang. One of his gang members Meenu falls in love with Shreyas, however, he is in love with Shruti, but is left heartbroken upon finding out that she is engaged to Sainath.

Raghuvinte Swantham Rasiya is a love story that attempts to triumph against all odds, and debutante Murali Krishnan plays the lead role along with Vinayan's own find Meghna Sundar. Veteran actors Charuhasan and Thilakan will also be seen in key roles. While Thilakan plays the role of freedom fighter Kuttappan Bhagavathar, Charuhasan would don the role of Bappu Musaliar who fights against religious extremism.
