Writer and director Fukuda Yuichi, known for Gintama and From Today, It's My Turn!!: The Movie, depicts an original interpretation of the historically-based fiction, "Romance of the Three Kingdoms". 1,800 years ago in China, the Wei, Wu, and Shu warlords were in conflict over unification of the country. Liu Bei (Oizumi Yo), who would later be hailed a hero, rose up in order to bring peace for his people.
