Sudhir Phadke was born in Kolhapur and is fondly addressed as `Babujee`. His whimsical destiny forced him to wander but he continued to make music even in a state of misery leading him to become a legendary singer and music composer in the country.

Vishu, a guy with a happy go lucky attitude meets Aarvi Kalsekar, a headstrong and straightforward girl. Vishu falls for Aarvi but because of their opposite natures their lives change forever.

This is the love story of Ajay (Ajay Devgan) and Pia (Kajol). They meet at a cruise fall and love and marry, only to later realize that Pia is suffering from Alzheimer. Whether the couple deals with Pia`s diminishing memory or give in to the disease, forms the crux of the story.
