A diligent policeman who uses both his brain and brawn to fight crime decides to take on a dreaded criminal.

Arul Selvakaran, a wealthy businessman from Palladam, Tirupur lives a lavish life. In an unfortunate event his mother meets with an accident and slips into a coma and her condition becomes incurable. In a desperate attempt to save his mother's life, Arul consults a priest who promises him that his mother would recover if he lived the life of a beggar for 48 days.
