Drishya is a film about a man whose family finds themselves in trouble when they get involved in a murder. To make matters worse, the murdered person happens to be a policewoman`s son. The film chronicles his effort to protect them through all the trouble they face.

Unni (Lal) is a co-director who aspires to make his own film. Unni even managed filming but the shooting but had to be stalled. He is married to Manju (Navya Nair) and the couple have a child.

Just before Yamuna's marriage, a letter from her psychiatrist Ravi Varman (Suresh Gopi), who had treated her for schizophrenic disorder three years ago revealing some startling truths about her condition. Though the mental issues and associated unsettling hallucinations faced by Yamuna are confusing, Ravi Varman finds the root causes of continuous vulture episodes through his travels into the subconscious mind and starts his treatments, finally to get the girl disowned by even her parents.

The movie revolves around the life of Sree Narayan Guru and his teachings. The story has two major sub plots. In the first plot, an intercaste couple fights the caste system with Guru`s blessings. In the second one, a wife of a drunken husband seeks Guru`s help to help the husband return to a normal life.

Their relationship is very weird and off-beat and even if they don't like each other so much, they want to go into bed with each other. And then their relationship goes so much farther than sex.

Thankam and her daughter Kochurani, are inseparable. But Thankam feels the distance between them when Kochurani falls in love with Sojappan, a businessman. At first, Thankam disapproves of the relatiosnhip, but nothing more mattered to her than her daughter`s happiness and so she eventually agrees for their marriage. But something else seemed to be destined for Kochurani, and when things look like they are fitting into the puzzle, right then comes a twist.

When Vivek (Jayasurya) returns home after his MBA studies, he wants to get married as soon as possible. His parents advise him to wait but he doesn`t relent. His peer group also asks him to take it slow, but Vivek has already made up his mind and ends up marrying Kavya (Bhama), a radio jockey. Incidentally Kavya is in this marriage to settle a score, which she does slowly and painfully.

Gaja (Darshan) hailing from an undivided family is a man with nerves. His life changes when he goes to his friend Krishna's village and meets Shwetha.
