A tribute to auteur Mrinal Sen, the film intricately weaves the personal and professional journeys of Mrinal Sen and Anjan Dutt through their collaboration on an ambitious film project, Chaalchitra, in 1981.

A modern retelling of Rabindranath Tagore`s classic novel, the film chronicles a triangular love story which is as much a story of passionate romance as it is of clashing ideologies. Directed by Aparna Sen, Ghawre Bairey Aaj stars Anirban Bhattacharya, Jisshu Sengupta and Tuhina Das in central roles.

Finally Bhalobasha depicts three stories that narrate the relationships between people of different age and gender, which is considered as a social taboo in our society. The movie very aesthetically shows how people in such relations go through the test of time by mentally juggling the concept of sin and their need of physical longing that finally transcends into true love.

A romantic drama, Ahare Mon is a heartwarming collage of inter-connected love stories, revolving around people who are otherwise forbidden to fall in love. The movie features four different and parallel love stories; two members of an old age home fall in love and elope to embark on an adventure of a lifetime, two hustlers pull off con jobs one after the other, an immigration officer crossing paths with a ravishing flyer more than often, and a young girl fights a terminal disease but is hopelessly in love with a movie star.

Uma is a story about a young girl who is fighting a terminal disease, a father who is struggling to make his daughter`s dreams come true and about a director whose past haunts him. It starts off with Uma, a young girl brought up in Austria, being recognised with a terminal disease and goes on about how Himadri, her father takes her to Kolkata to fulfil her dream by setting up a fake Durga Puja, the most celebrated festival of the Bengalis.

Aami Ashbo Phirey is a musical that is about four different stories that are all connected by a violent incident. A young, unknown and unheard singer and songwriter accidentally enters the stories through virtual media and changes their lives for the better. The film re-asserts that art can surpass all differences, violence, intolerance and give them a chance to redeem oneself.

Byomkesh O Agniban is a sequel to Anjan Dutta`s Byomkesh O Chiriyakhana. The sixth movie in the series sees Sharadundu Bandopadhyay`s literary detective, Byomkesh Bakshi tackle a foe from his past.

10 years after `The Bong Connection`, `The Bongs Again` is a journey of two girls. Sara, a young girl in her 20s comes to Kolkata from the UK to look for her biological mother. Oli is another young girl in her 20s who goes to London from Calcutta in search of her father who had left her and the family. Directed by Anjan Dutt, the movie is about Soumyak, Anubrato, Tanaji and Sumeet who are trying to make it big with their Bangla band. While the movie is more like a rock musical, it also covers issues such as communal tension between Hindus and Muslims and gun violence. Watch out for live acts by Bangla bands Jack Rabbit, Inferno and Alokborsho.

The film is based on the lives of Bengali's across the world, especially on those settled abroad. It attempts to delineate the pain and dilemma of Bengali's estranged from their places of origin. It seeks to explore sensitive souls singing to the tunes of Tagore.
