Alejandro continues to don the mask of Zorro but is torn between his duty and desire for a normal life when he runs headlong into a crisis that threatens the safety of his family.

Riddick (Vin Diesel), having remained in hiding for five years after the events of Pitch Black, evades the bounty hunter Toombs (Nick Chinlund). A crew of bounty hunters led by Toombs arrives at the frozen planet U.V. to hunt down Riddick, a notorious wanted fugitive. Riddick kills Roombs' crew and steals his ship, before heading for the planet called Helion Prime, after Toombs reveals that the incredibly high bounty originated there. Once there, Riddick is reunited with Abu "Imam" Al-Walid (Keith David), the man he rescued in Pitch Black, and is asked about his home world, a now devastated planet called Furya, and if there are any of his people still alive, aside from him. Imam and the others are aware that Helion Prime is likely the next planet to be conquered by the Necromongers, an army of religious fanatics who seek to convert every human life and kill those who refuse. Aereon (Judi Dench), an Air Elemental, believes Riddick is a Furyan, a member of a race of warriors long thought extinct. One night, the Necromongers invades Helion Prime, overwhelming their entire defense forces, and takes control of the capital. In the ensuing battle, Imam is killed defending his family and Riddick heads to the capital building. The next day, the Necromongers, led by the high priest (called The Purifier), coerce the populace into converting, except for Riddick, who in a display of defiance kills the man who killed Imam the night before. Intrigued, and alarmed by a sense of Deja Vu, the Lord Marshal (Colm Feore) leader of the Necromonger faith, orders Riddick be examined in the main Necromonger hall by the Quasi-Dead Telepaths. Lord Mardhal possesses unnatural abilities granted to him after visiting the Underverse, the Necromonger Promised Land. He is the subject of a prophecy that foretells of his death at the hands of a Furyan warrior. It is discovered that Riddick is the last Furyan alive, to which the Lord Marshal immediately orders Riddick's death. Riddick escapes the Necromonger ship and allows himself to be captured by Toombs and his new crew. Riddick quietly gets Toombs to take him to Crematoria, a scorching subterranean and harsh prison moon, where the kid from Pitch Black, Jack (Alexa Davalos), was reported to have been sent. Following Riddick's escape, the Lord Marshal sends a commander named Vaako (Karl Urban) a loyal Necromonger Commander who is tasked with hunting down and killing Riddick. This process made easier by Toombs' ship leaving behind an easily traceable path. During the voyage, Vaako's wife Dame Vaako (Thandiwe Newton), after talking to the Elemental Aereon who acted as a seer for the Lord Marshal 30 years prior, reveals that Furya was devastated by the Lord Marshal, after he was informed that a male child from that world would bring about his downfall, thus revealing his desire to see Riddick killed. On Crematoria, a disagreement between Toombs and the prison warden over the amount Toombs is owed for Riddick results in Toombs and his crew staying there for a day. Word about the Necromongers has reached even the isolated prison guards, who suspect that Toombs stole Riddick from them, and that it will bring them only trouble. A firefight breaks out, killing most of the bounty hunters except for Toombs. On Crematoria, Riddick quickly asserts his position in the prison's populace. In the prison, Riddick meets up with Jack, now renamed Kyra, who resents him for abandoning her. After a few fights, they eventually reconcile. The next day, the guards kill all the mercenaries, except Toombs who drops into the prison area, who take all their money and prepare to leave when they realize the Necromongers are coming for Riddick. Overpowering and locking Toombs' in a cell, Riddick escapes the prison and leads several prisoners across Crematoria's volcanic surface to the hangar to steal Toombs' ship. As the prisoners reach the outside of the hangar, they find that Necromonger ships have also landed. A three-way fight breaks out between the Necromongers, the prisoners, and the hangar guards. In the end, all of the guards and prisoners are killed, Riddick is incapacitated by Vaako, and Kyra is captured. As the deadly sunrise approaches, Vaako leaves Riddick to die and departs. However, following an outburst of energy by Riddick, a trait among Furyans, and the approach of the vicious sunrise (0 to 700 degrees F), Vaako leaves Riddick for dead. Kyra, also thinking Riddick is dead, flees with the Necromongers. However, Riddick is saved by the Purifier (Linus Roache), who informs him that if he stays away from the Necromongers, the Lord Marshal will not hunt him. The Purifier then reveals that he too is Furyan, and that Vaako will likely report Riddick as dead, giving him the element of surprise. The Purifier then commits suicide by walking out of the hanger onto the scorching surface of Crematoria after encouraging Riddick to save Kyra and kill the Lord Marshal. Meanwhile, Vaako has reported Riddick as dead, and for which, has been named as the heir apparent by the Lord Marshal. Riddick flies back to Helion Prime. Flying back to Helion Prime on Toombs's ship, Riddick infiltrates the Necromongers' flagship. Riddick, disguised as a Necromonger in full armor, infiltrates the main Necromonger hall. Dame Vaako finds out and encourages her husband to let Riddick strike first, so as to wound the Lord Marshal, paving the way for Vaako to kill him. Taking advantage of the Necromonger's culture, Riddick openly challenges Lord Marshal, who taunts him by revealing Kyra has been converted. Riddick fights Lord Marshal, who keeps the upper hand with his supernatural powers. Riddick attacks him, and when it appears that Riddick has been defeated, Kyra stabs the Lord Marshal in the back with a spear. She is then mortally wounded after being tossed onto, and impaled, on spikes. Vaako attempts to strike the wounded Lord Marshal, who evades the blow. Riddick, who in the fight has figured out the Lord Marshal's weakness, ends up killing the Lord Marshal. After Kyra dies in Riddick's arms, and as Riddick mourns, the Necromongers kneel before him, the new Lord Marshal.

A montage of news footage illustrating a violent coup that is taking place in Nigeria, overthrowing the Presidential family and establishing a dictatorship under the rebel general Yakubu. The Fulani rebels then begin a violent ethnic cleansing campaign against the Ibo (Eebow) tribes in the southern region. We then join a squad of SH-60B Seahawk helicopters on approach to the USS Harry S. Truman off the coast of Africa, and a news reporter on the flight deck reporting on the coup taking place. His report is interrupted by the news of the whole presidential family being assassinated by rebel forces. Lieutenant Waters (Bruce Willis) and his team of Navy SEALs disembark from a helicopter, returning from a mission to extract American citizens from the embassy. They are greeted by Captain Bill Rhodes on the deck who immediately informs them that they'll need to be reinserted to extract a critical personality immediately. After refitting for the next mission, eating and having their wounds tended by the medic they meet in the ships briefing room to get the details of their mission. They're instructed that they will Halo Jump over Cameroon and into the jungle outside of a small Catholic mission where they will find Dr. Lena Fiore Kendricks (Monica Bellucci) (an American citizen by marriage). Their secondary mission is to extract the priest and two nuns who run the mission if they are willing to go with them. Once they have their "package" they are to make a twelve-kilometer hike to the designated extraction point where they'll be flown out by helicopter. The mission begins precisely as planned with the SEAL team dropping from the aircraft and free falling over the target area. After forcibly having a young Nigerian woman lead the SEALs to Kendricks, Waters informs Kendricks of the rebel company approaching the mission and that their orders are to extract U.S. personnel. Kendricks refuses to leave the mission without the people under her care. Waters contacts Rhodes to explore their options and after a short and ambiguous conversation concedes to the doctor that they will take the refugees that can move under their own power with them. Kendricks agrees and immediately begins to round up every able-bodied refugee to make the hike. Irritated and behind schedule the SEALs start to move out with the refugees after daybreak. Their journey proves to be slow and hindered as guiding forty injured and wounded refugees is a difficult task. After night has fallen, they decide to take a short break to allow the refugees to rest and give Dr. Kendricks's time to administer medication to those that need it. Waters has his team setup a defensive perimeter around the refugees. Moments after the perimeter is set, guerrilla rebels are rapidly approaching their position, with Waters stealthily killing a straggling tail gunner. Dr. Kendricks expresses her concern to Waters that the rebels are headed for the mission, but Waters is determined to carry out his orders and they continue on their way. They finally reach their landing zone and contact the helicopters that are in route. When the choppers land, Waters' initial plan becomes clear as the SEALs suddenly turn on the refugees and hold them at gun point. Waters forces Dr. Kendricks onto the helicopter and the SEAL team collapses back for a swift extraction. The refugees are left stranded in the middle of the jungle without any protection against rebel forces. During the flight back to the Truman, the helicopter crew and SEALS pass over the mission and discover that it's been raided and destroyed just as Kendricks had predicted. Feeling a deep conviction, Waters orders the helicopter to turn around and regroup with the refugees. The SEALs decide on the spot to escort the refugees to the Cameroon border. During the trip, the SEALs discover that they are being tracked by a large body of rebel soldiers while using satellite scans of the area. Their pursuers are having mysterious success in their tracking of the SEALs. As they continuously attempt to escape and evade the rebels, they encounter a small village that is in the process of being destroyed and the residents executed, sexually assaulted and murdered by rebel soldiers. Realizing that they have an opportunity to stop it, Waters orders the refugees to remain on the high ground while his team assaults the village. They execute their plan with surgical precision, eliminating the threat. During the aftermath of the assault, the SEAL team becomes morally conscious after seeing the after-effects of the atrocities. While continuing on their way, Slo determines that somebody within the group must be transmitting a signal that's allowing the rebels to identify their location and close in with incredible speed. It is then revealed that there is a surviving member of the Presidential family in their party, Samuel Azuka's son, Arthur, and that its very important for the rebels to ensure his death. A newer "refugee" is discovered in the group to have a transmitter on his person. He attempts to flee but is shot dead. Waters is angry at Dr. Kendricks because she knew all along about Arthur's true identity, yet never informed him. The SEALs unanimously continue to escort the refugees no matter what the cost is. A massive fire fight breaks out between the SEALs and the hundreds of rebels hidden in the trees. Soon the SEALs form a defensive line against the rebels as they order the refugees to retreat to the tree line where the Cameroon border is in sight. Zee radios into the Truman for air support and two F/A-18 Hornets take off from the flight deck in route to their location. The SEALs continue to hold the line as they fall back to the refugees' location. However, the overwhelming firepower of the rebels claims the lives of Slo, Flea, Lake and Silk. The refugees provide a small amount of cover fire as the remaining SEALs fall back into the reeds. During the battle, Waters, Red, and Zee are all wounded. The planes forming the airstrike radio into their location. The SEALs mark the ground with a smoke grenade and order the pilots to fire on everything between the tree line and the smoke. Arthur and Dr. Kendricks are scrambling to the gate when they hear the thunderous roar of their birds on approach. They are terrified to see the planes drop a substantial payload on the rebel fighters. With the battlefield engulfed in fire, Arthur and Kendricks fear that the airstrike wiped out Waters' team. Waters, Zee, Doc and Red emerge from the grass as helicopters land on the other side of the Cameroon border as Captain Rhodes orders the guards to open the gate and let the SEALs and refugees in. A group of Marines then escort the SEALs to the helicopters where their wounds are tended to. Dr. Kendricks says her goodbyes to her friends and departs on the same helicopter with Waters. The final scene depicts the refugees recognizing Arthur as the tribal king and rightful heir to Nigeria, and he raises his hand exclaiming "Freedom!" as his fellow Nigerians celebrate around him. In the closing title, we see the quote "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing" by Edmund Burke.

John Kruger (Arnold Schwarzenegger), code named "Eraser", is a U.S. Marshal who works for the Federal Witness Security Protection Program (WITSEC). John specializes in "erasing" high-profile witnesses: faking their deaths and giving them new identities. U.S. Marshal Robert DeGuerin is John's mentor. WITSEC has 14,600 witnesses under their protection program. John erases mobster-turned-informant Johnny Casteleone (Robert Pastorelli) and his wife. In the process, John saves Johnny and his family from being killed by mob agents who wanted revenge against Johnny for turning informant. John is given a new assignment by his superior U.S. Marshal WITSEC Chief Arthur Beller (James Coburn). John is assigned to protect Lee Cullen (Vanessa L. Williams), a senior executive for Cyrez Corporation, a company that creates and manufactures weapons for the military. Lee has come across plans by Cyrez to sell a top-secret electronic pulse rifle to Russian terrorist Sergei Ivanovich Petrofsky (Olek Krupa). The sale of such weapons of unparalleled firepower to the wrong hands would tip the balance of power. To procure evidence, Lee copies critical data onto two discs: one for the FBI, the other as evidence in order to publicize Cyrez's transgressions. She hides the 2nd disc in her compact in her purse. However, William Donahue (James Cromwell), the corrupt CEO of Cyrez, catches wind of Lee's intentions and orders her into his office. Donahue confiscated her camera and aims the gun at Lee but commits suicide in order for him to escape punishment, and Lee barely escapes from Cyrez. Disappointed with the FBI because of failure to guarantee her safety, she delivers the evidence (The first disc) but refuses to submit herself to WITSEC, despite John's advice. The FBI's disc is secretly replaced with a fake on the orders of Under Secretary of Defense Daniel Harper (Andy Romano), the conspiracy's mastermind. Lee goes home and tries to open the 2nd disc on her computer, raising an alarm at Cyrez, who inform somebody named Morehart, that Lee is trying to access the data on the disc. The data is encrypted and can only be opened on specific computers as it requires a hardware Decryption. The same night, Lee is targeted for assassination by a group (led by "J. Scar" (Mark Rolston) the mercenary leader) wielding a couple of the aforementioned pulse rifles. The rifle has extraordinary capabilities such as an X-Ray vision and an ability to shoot through solid walls. John rescues Lee and takes her to New York City to hide her. Lee tells rescue that Cyrez was contracted by the military to scale down the Navy's Rail gun system and make a compact, hyper-velocity pulse weapon. Cyrez took millions in R&D grants from the military, but eventually said that the physics were impossible. It is likely that Cyrez found a higher bidder for the guns and hence wanted to hide them from the military. Morehart reports to Daniel Harper that Lee is alive and has a copy of the disc. Daniel orders Morehart to get the disc back at any cost. Morehart also adds that Lee called a woman named Claire Isaacs (Roma Maffia), a reporter for the Washington Herald. Soon afterwards John learns from his mentor, fellow Marshal Robert DeGuerin (James Caan), that someone, perhaps a mole within the WITSEC, is targeting witnesses in top-level cases, including Lee. They (including Marshals Calderon (Nick Chinlund), Schiff (Michael Papajohn), and new recruit Monroe (Danny Nucci)) proceed to the location of one of the targeted witnesses. DeGuerin and John kill several men inside the witness's cabin, who seem to be there to kill the witness, just like DeGuerin said it was. Turns out the men were working for DeGuerin, and he sacrificed them to lure John into a false sense of danger to the witnesses. But then, DeGuerin kills the witness personally, revealing himself as Donahue's U.S. Marshal mole and a major player in the scam, which includes even Undersecretary of Defense Daniel Harper, the true mastermind. John cannot understand why 5 assassins were sent to eliminate one woman. Schiff "finds" a photo of Lee on one of the assassins and alerts John. John says that Lee is an Atlanta, as he could sense that this was a ruse for DeGuerin to get John to divulge Lee's location. Flying back to Atlanta, DeGuerin drugs John, who manages to warn Lee on phone before losing consciousness. Lee was instructed to leave the safe-house and wait for John by a pay phone a few blocks away near the city zoo. The warning call is traced to New York City and DeGuerin kills Monroe with John's gun, framing him as the mole. Revealing he, Calderon, and Schiff are corrupt, DeGuerin explains that they are the go-between for a wealthy buyer who plans to purchase the rifle. John escapes from the plane to rescue Lee from the same mercenaries who tried to kill her before. John and Lee flee through New York City Zoo; John releases several alligators to trap and kill the mercenaries. DeGuerin has John and Lee branded as fugitives. With help from Johnny, John and Lee infiltrate Cyrez and use Donohue's terminal to Decrypt Lee's second disc. The disc reveals that a huge shipment of EM rifles has been stashed at the docks in Baltimore. The buyer is Russian Mafia boss Sergei Ivanovich Petrofsky, who plans to resell the weapons to terrorists. The company detects the intrusion, pinpoints their whereabouts, and remotely erases the disc. DeGuerin then kidnaps Lee and takes her to the docks as the shipment is being loaded onto Petrofsky's Russian-flagged freighter. Johnny contacts his mobster cousin, Tony Two-Toes (Joe Viterelli), who controls the docks; angered that he's being cut out of the deal, he has his men assist John. They kill Petrofsky, his henchmen, Calderon, and Schiff. In a struggle atop a shipping container, DeGuerin tries to shoot Lee, but John comes to her aid and destroys the pulley system on the container crane, dropping DeGuerin and the container to the ground and exposing the presence of the EM rifles. John secures DeGuerin, leaving him to be detained by the authorities. This proves John and Lee's innocence. Weeks later, DeGuerin, Harper, and Morehart are indicted for treason. However, it quickly becomes clear that without solid evidence, they will likely be acquitted in court. For their safety, John fakes his and Lee's deaths in an explosion. After being liberated, DeGuerin, Harper and Morehart (Gerry Becker) leave in a limo that stops at a railroad crossing. The driver - a disguised Johnny - locks the doors and exits the vehicle. Seconds later, a massive freight train plows through the car, killing the three men in a staged accident. Lee asks John what happened, to which he responds, "They caught a train". They then drive off for a new life.
