Read more →In the 31st century, three members of the Fatal Five - Tharok (Peter Jessop), Persuader (Matthew Yang King) and Mano (Philip Anthony-Rodriguez) - attack the headquarters of the Legion of Super-Heroes, with the aim of capturing their time travel device. Star Boy / Thomas Kallor (Elyes Gabel), Saturn Girl / Harley Quinn (Tara Strong) and Brainiac 5 (Noel Fisher), the only Legionnaires present, try to keep them back but fail. Brainiac 5 jury rigs a booby trap into the time travel device that will freeze the Fatal Five into the device as soon as they activate it, but doesn't complete programming it. Just as the villains activate the device, Star Boy leaps at them and is taken along on their ride back into the 21st century. While the time machine descends down to Earth in a fire-ball, Star Boy manages to trigger a booby-trap Brainiac 5 has programmed into the device's computer, which traps the villains in a stasis field. Star Boy comes down in Gotham City, while the time machine ends up in Metropolis. Star Boy finds to his horror that his only supply of a mind-stabilizing drug he needs regularly has been destroyed by his rough landing. During his search for a replacement (which does not exist in this era), his increasingly erratic behavior (when he gets into a pharmacy, gets naked believing that his clothes are scaring pharmacist and demands to have his medicines that are not available in the current time-line) gets him arrested by Batman and interred in Arkham. The stasis-locked time machine is picked up by Superman and brought to the Justice League's headquarters for analysis. Ten months later, Jessica Cruz / Green Lantern (Diane Guerrero) is struggling with the trauma of her near-death by a murderer who killed her friends after they had stumbled upon him burying two bodies three years ago, leaving her afraid to leave her apartment. Jessica only escaped the murderer when she ran away and fall off a cliff into a forest below. Adding onto her anxiety is that a Green Lantern ring choose her, and that Wonder Woman (Susan Eisenberg) keeps trying to recruit her into the Justice League. Jessica is not convinced that the ring would work and Wonder Woman attacks her to activate the defenses of the ring and to prove to Jessica that it had chosen her for a reason. Even the ring tells Jessica that she has the ability to overcome her fears. In Gotham, Miss Martian (Daniela Bobadilla) is trying to prove herself to Bruce Wayne / Batman (Kevin Conroy) for membership in the League, but her inexperience when dealing with a hostage situation at Gotham News Network (GNN) caused by Bloodsport works against her good intentions. While trying to unlock the secret of the strange sphere, Mister Terrific / Kilowog (Kevin Michael Richardson) brings down the stasis field, freeing its occupants. Clark Kent / Superman (George Newbern) and Mister Terrific fight them, but Superman is wounded by Persuader's ax, and the villains escape. In Gotham, Star Boy's memory is jogged by a news report of that fight, and he breaks out of Arkham. The Leaguers compare their notes about these unknown assailants and discover they are time travelers, and from one of Star Boy's rantings Batman deduces that they are after Jessica. When the three villains start beating Jessica down, Star Boy comes to her rescue, shortly followed by Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Mister Terrific and Miss Martian, who force them into flight after a hard struggle. In the aftermath, Star Boy and Jessica form a close friendship. To find out more about their guest from the future, Batman instructs Miss Martian to telepathically link their and Jessica's minds with Star Boy's memories, thus learning about the Legion. They also come to witness a battle between the Legion, Chameleon, Dawnstar, Tyroc, Mon-El, Shadow Lass, and later Brainiac 5, Saturn Girl, and Star Boy, and the Fatal Five, which ended with the capture of Emerald Empress (Sumalee Montano) (Mano's lover) and Validus. Since no prison could hold them in the 31st century, the Legion took them to Oa in the past. Upon their awakening, the League receives an ultimatum from Mano: Surrender Jessica, or all American cities will be destroyed by bombs created by Tharok. The first bombings start in Metropolis, forcing the Justice League to move out. Jessica, left behind with Star Boy in the Watchtower, is contacted by Tharok through her ring, forcing her to surrender herself to the Five and enable them entry to the Green Lantern Corps science cells where Emerald Empress and Validus are held, since no prison in the 31st century could contain them. Despite interference by the Corps, the two imprisoned of the Five are freed, and when Jessica fights back, Persuader cleaves her ring in two. Afterwards, Emerald Empress has her Emerald Eye absorb the entire energy of the Corps' central lantern, and then the Five return to Earth to recover the time machine. In the meantime, Star Boy discovers Jessica's absence and informs the League. The heroes proceed to the time machine's location, a secret military base, where the Five force them into battle. Emerald Empress disables the League and then initiates her master plan to use the Lantern's power to destroy Earth's sun, wipe out humanity, and thus prevent the formation of the Legion. In the prison, Jessica recovers her faith and determination, and by reciting her oath she reassembles her power ring. She returns to Earth and prevents the Five from escaping back to their own era by bringing the whole base down on them, thereby killing them. Superman, Jessica and Star Boy then race after the Eye, but are too late to prevent it from plunging into the sun. As the star cracks apart, Star Boy sacrifices himself by lowering himself into the sun's core and using his powers to reverse the Fractioning. As the League commemorates Star Boy's heroism, they are joined by the Legion, who have come from the future to honor their fallen comrade. Batman also informs Miss Martian that she has been invited to join the Justice League, and she accepts the offer.

Read more →One year after their battle with Shredder, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Leonardo (Leader), Donatello (Brains), Raphael (Muscle), and Michelangelo (Pizza lover), still live beneath the sewers, having allowed Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett) (a journalist) to take the credit for Shredder's (Brian Tee) defeat. April O'Neil (Megan Fox) discovers that a scientist named Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry) is working for Shredder and that he plans to help Shredder escape from prison. April informs the turtles about this. As Shredder is transferred between prisons with two criminals alongside him, Bebop and Rocksteady, by corrections officer Casey Jones (Stephen Amell), the Foot Clan attack the convoy transporting him. Despite the turtles interference, Shredder escapes when Stockman uses a teleportation device. But Shredder is hijacked mid-Teleport and winds up in another dimension. There, he meets the alien warlord Krang, who tells him about his plans to invade Earth and gives him a Mutagenic compound in exchange for his promise to find three components of a machine that Krang sent to Earth long ago, which will open a portal to his dimension when united, and he knows that Shredder and Stockman have the first piece. Krang gives Shredder a mutagen to take care of the turtles. At the NYPD Casey tells the chief what happened but the chief doesn't believe him. he decides to go out on his own. Shredder returns to New York City and recruits Bebop and Rocksteady, who also escaped, and has Stockman use Krang's mutagen to transform them into powerful animal mutants-a humanoid warthog and rhinoceros. April witnesses their transformation and is able to steal the vial of mutagen. Pursued by the Foot, she is rescued by Casey, who uses hockey gear. In the ensuing battle, the vial of mutagen is taken into police custody. April then introduces Casey to the turtles, and Raphael and Michelangelo make fun of him and pull pranks on him. In the lair, Donatello deduces that the mutagen could be used to turn the turtles into humans, enabling them to live normal lives above ground, but Leonardo refuses and insists on keeping it a secret from the others. However, Michelangelo overhears their conversation and tells Raphael, which enrages Raphael and leading to a fierce argument between the brothers. Leonardo benches Raphael and takes Michelangelo off the mission. In the National Museum in New York, Shredder, Bebop, and Rocksteady are able to find the second piece and steal it, before Leonardo and Donatello arrive. Still furious, Raphael recruits Michelangelo, April, Casey, and Vern to break into the NYPD police headquarters and retrieve the mutagen. Vern distracts the police, while April and Casey retrieve the mutagen, but the Foot arrive ahead of them. In the ensuing battle, the turtles existence is revealed to the police, who react with fear and hatred. April and Casey intervene and help the brothers escape, but April and Casey are arrested. The police also see on TCRI's cameras that April stole the mutagen, however Stockman edits the tape so that Bebop and Rocksteady's mutations aren't seen. With Shredder's forces having already recovered two pieces of the device, the turtles track Bebop and Rocksteady as they recover the final piece in the rain-forests of Manaus, Brazil. The turtles confront Bebop and Rocksteady in their jet and in the ensuing battle, the jet is destroyed. After the Turtles battle with Bebop in a river for control of the piece, Rocksteady emerges in a tank and helps Bebop escape with the piece. The turtles return to New York as Shredder and Stockman complete the portal device and open the gateway to Krang's dimension, through which his modular war machine, the Technodrome, begins to emerge. Shredder betrays Stockman and has his men take him away to their headquarters in Tokyo, but upon entering the Technodrome, Krang immediately betrays Shredder, freezing him and locking him away with his collection of other defeated foes. Seeing no way to reach the Technodrome with the police pursuing them, the turtles debate over taking the mutagen in order to become humans and fight openly. Though Leonardo agrees to do it, Raphael shatters the vial, realizing they must accept who they are. Upon April's request, Vern recovers security footage from TCRI that proves Stockman's and Shredder's complicity and secures April and Casey's release, allowing them to set up a meeting between the turtles and police chief Rebecca Vincent, where they convince her that they are not enemies and that they were the ones who took down Shredder in the first place. With the help of the police, the turtles are able to confront Krang aboard the still-assembling Technodrome. Although Krang is able to overpower all 4 turtles easily, the Turtles manage to defeat him when Donatello short circuits Krang's robotic body. Meanwhile, Casey keeps Bebop and Rocksteady busy and defeats them by locking them in a crate full of grenades, while April and Vern defeat Shredder's lieutenant Karai and take control of the portal device. The turtles are able to hurl the beacon back through the portal, taking Krang and the rest of the Technodrome with it. April, Casey, and Vern then shut the portal down. As he disappears, Krang swears he will return for revenge. In the aftermath, Bebop and Rocksteady are taken back into custody, while Stockman remains at large. At night, the Turtles are honored by Vincent and the NYPD, along with April, Casey, and Vern, and gives the turtles golden keys to the city, and she said to give an opportunity to the people and accept them, but the turtles elect to keep their existence a secret from the public, but they will always have help when they want. On top of the Statue of Liberty, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles celebrate their victory over the vanquished Krang.
