Based on a true story, this film follows pensioner Bernard Jordan who absconds from his care home in the UK to attend the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings in France.

Set in 1944, nearing the end of the Second World War, a glamorous journalist arrives at Walmington-on-Sea, to report on the Home Guard platoon`s exploits. Soon after, MI5 discovers a radio signal transmitted from Walmington-on-Sea towards Berlin, making them convinced there is a German spy in town. This gives a Home Guard, with low morale, a chance to make a real difference in the war.

Iago convinces Othello, The Moor of Venice that his wife, Desdemona has been unfaithful. Iago is an evil, manipulative character with his own agenda.
