Jongole Mitin Mashi is based on a story of anti-poaching of elephants and depicts the fight of Mitin against the enemies of the forest.

The plot follows a married couple who visit Kalimpong for a much-needed vacation and book a bungalow which is rumored to be a haunted house. During their stay, they experience some paranormal activities in that house and it soon becomes a murder mystery.

Based on a real-life incident, Cockpit follows the story of a flight going from Mumbai to Calcutta, which gets hit due to bad turbulent weather on air. The challenges that the pilot faces in order to land the airplane, after the engines were damaged, forms the crux of the film.

The story is based on the conviction Dhananjoy, accused for the gruesome murder of Hetal Parekh, which took place in the year 1990. On the basis of circumstantial evidence and on the basis of the deceased mother`s statement, Dhananjoy Chatterjee- a security guard, was executed and hanged to death on the early hours of 15th August 2004, after serving imprisonment for 14 long years and after having appealed to all levels of court in the country; and finally, to the President of India.

Kolkata is ablaze with Hindu-Muslim riots in 1946, when the newly-married Byomkesh Bakshi visits Banaras with wife Satyabati and Ajit on police inspector Purandar Pandey`s invitation. There, the trio is invited to a grand party thrown by zamindar Dipnarayan Singh. But the next morning, Dipnarayan dies and Byomkesh is called in to solve the case. In due course, he finds that Dipnarayan`s pretty wife, Shakuntala, is pregnant. But the discovery only adds to the confusion. Was Dipnarayan murdered for money or was a secret love affair involved?

The story revolves around a brave heart Barun Biswas, portrayed by Parambrata Chatterjee, who raises voice against numerous gang rapes in a village called Dukhiya. Dukhiya, where gang rapes had become a festival. These are celebrated by some political criminals. They do not even spare children and aged females. Police also will not take up any complaints against these powerful criminals. Barun Biswas with his team forms a forum named `Jagaran Mancha` and stands against all odds and forced the law to arrest the culprits. Eventually, the accused men get Barun Biswas murdered leaving the entire village in shock and pain. Later, Binod Bihari Dutta, portrayed by Paran Bondhopadhyay, coming to Dukhiya in search of the truth behind Barun`s murder. Binod comes to know about the goons (who are by now released on bail), and the way they have terrorized the village. Binod tries to motivate villagers the way Barun did.

The film follows six friends who have just graduated from high school and revisit former relationships they left behind in school only to fall in love. From the cast, actor, Arjun Chakrabarty plays Bapi a high school graduate who lacks ambition. The film also stars Mimi Chakraborty, Shalmi Barman ,Anindya Chatterjee, Tista Dutta and Dhruva Lal. Abhijit Guha has directed the film while Sudeshna Roy has written and directed the film.

Neel Rajar Deshe is `inspired` by Gabriele Salvatore`s I am Not Scared. Raja and Chhoti are two children who while on a vacation are living with their mother in a lonely cottage on the foothills of the Himalayas near Siliguri. Raja discovers a little boy hidden inside a hole near the forests. To his shock, he discovers that his father has unwittingly let himself get involved in the ransom-linked kidnapping of a small boy of a Kolkata industrialist and has been forced to offer his own home as the kidnapper`s hideout. Tension builds up to rescue the kid and the life of Rajas father as they soon find themselves trapped in their own home.
