The Heartbreak Kid stars Ben Stiller as Eddie, a man who as the film opens is getting married to a woman he proposed to after knowing her for just one week. While on their honeymoon he discovers that his new bride is in many ways a horrible person, and at the same time meets a woman (Michelle Monaghan) who he begins to realize he should have married. Well here starts the mayhem the quest between the one you are marrying and the one you love.

A U.S. actor gets a gig in South American Parador. When the dictator dies, he's forced to play him for real and gets his mistress. Can they change Parador? Little known actor Jack Noah is working on location in the country of Parador at the time the dictator dies. The dictator's right-hand man Roberto makes Jack an offer he cannot refuse: to play the dictator. Jack's acting skills fool the masses, but not close friends and employees of the dictator. —Rob Hartill

Henry Winkler portrays an outrageously self-confident but out-of-work actor, a young man who dreams of stardom and leaves college to pursue fame and fortune. In 1951, Andy Schmidt is in his last year of college. Taking life easy, always with a saucy joke on his lips, he manages to win fellow student Mary's heart, although she's already otherwise engaged. But getting a job after college turns out to be much harder than he expected. Most directors take offense at his free interpretation of his roles.
