Set entirely in the modern day England, `London Bridge` narrates the importance of relationships, and shows how love and empathy prevails against ambition and dreams. It is the story of an ambitious hardworking young entrepreneur, a kind-hearted daughter, and a successful business tycoon, whose heirdom is at stake as his only daughter values the pain and sorrow of the underprivileged in the society than her only relative in the world. C S Nambiar, a well-known industrialist, who has many businesses under his wings, sees his future son-in-law in Vijay, a hardworking ambitious young business man, who is also an upcoming threat to some of his business interests. Nambiar offers to accept Vijay as his successor, if Vijay succeeds in bringing back his daughter, Pavitra, from her chosen path of charity and goodwill towards the needy of the society. Irrespective of being from a different cultural and financial background, Pavitra, feels it her responsibility to be part of the great nation she resides in, England, which has forever advocated, followed, and supported rehabilitation of the less fortunate part of all societies.. Vijay, who has struggled hard all his life to climb up the ladder of prosperity, takes up the challenge of winning the heart of art loving, compassionate Pavitra, who loves and respects the great people of England, and thereby wishes to offer her services to support the sick and hapless division of the society. Pavitra who has a strong individuality, and own views towards life, deep under her heart never wants to hurt her father, but has clear vision on what she would do with her life, and the fortune she would inherit from her father. The movie revolves around different lifestyles of England, touching hearts of a number of people who represent the expat, as well as the inhabitant population of the great country, which has always welcomed various cultures to it`s heart. Vijay`s quest to winning Pavitra`s heart, fulfilling C S Nambiar`s only aim in life, and thereby succeed in writing his own destiny, would be unfolded in the movie through light, and some times not so light-hearted moments.

A detective investigates the death of the wife of an emerging politician. The death was first ruled as suicide, but he realizes this is not a suicide but a well planned murder in cold blood. When the wife of Mohan Kumar, an upcoming politician is found dead the suspicion falls on him. Investigation of police rules it as suicide. But Mohan's father-in-law asks for an investigation to know the truth about what happened to his daughter by Detective Shyam Prasad, a man reputed to solve all cases handed out to him. But there is some friction between Shyam and Mohan as their father had an affair with Mohan's mother and caused the family to shatter. But during the investigation he finds out that this was a murder well executed by a smart and dangerous criminal.

Nanda happiness is short lived as her fiance dies in an accident. However, a ray of hope strikes through the gloom as she meets the twin brother of him. Nanda (Revathi) is in love with a successful architect Narendaran (Mohan Lal), both of whom are living in Bangalore. They get engaged and are all set to marry when tragedy strikes. While they are talking on top of a construction building, Narendran accidentally slips and falls down, dying instantly. Depressed Nanda escorts Narendran's corpse to his homeland in Kerala. To her surprise she sees Narendran's twin brother Krishnan Unni (Mohan Lal), who looks exactly like Narendran. She thinks Narendran is not dead and everyone is trying to fool her. Narendran's parents want Nanda to marry Unni but he is already in love with Bhadra (Shobana). Bhadra tries to commit suicide and this shakes Nanda, Bhadra's dear friend, and Unni. Not wanting to be a burden on anyone and truly missing Narendran, Nanda commits suicide. Narendran's ghost, moments before Nanda's suicide, tells Unni that he is going to take Nanda with him to heaven since he really needs her, even in death. Unni is unsure if he just had an illusion, but to the viewers, it shown that Narendran's ghost was present and actually talking to Unni. —Ajeesh Sivadas
