Rachana Narayanankutty

Panchayat Jetty is a Malayalam movie starring Manikandan Pattambi, Rachana Narayanankutty, Vinod Kovoor and Veena Nair in prominent roles. It is written and directed by Salim Hasan and Manikandan Pattambi.

The rustic serenity of Aaraattu is rattled by the arrival of a stranger, Neyyattinkara Gopan, who is a rare mix of bravado and comic extravagance. It only takes him a while for him to `control` the villagers. As they succumb to his devious design, little do they know what is kept in store for them!

Babu, a cook, has a fight with his master and his wife and leaves the house. He meets a fashion designer who lives with her three friends and decides to work for them instead.

Puthiya Niyamam is set in a metro city. The story unfolds the life of family court lawyer Adv. Louis Pothen (Mammootty) and his wife and dancer Vasuki (Nayantara). Their marriage was an inter-caste love marriage and they start having problems. Adv. Louis Pothen is a master in dealing with divorce cases and in most such cases, he stands with the husband and tries to make a compromise so that the couples are not separated. He is a political observer and used to participate in channel discussions too. It is at this juncture that an unexpected problem affects the whole family and the consequent efforts of Louis to solve the issue form the rest of the plot.

The film revolves around Balan, a village boy`s struggle to stay in a city and his tussle with the bureaucracy. `Vallatha-Pahayan` is a satire that stars Manikandan Pattambi, Rachna, Niyas, Vinod Kovoor, Sreekumar and SnehaJanardhanan. The film has been directed by Rasak Mohammed and Niyas Bakar under the Galaxy Films banner.
