Doddmane Hudga is a complete commercial entertainer featuring superstar Puneeth Rajkumar and has been directed by Duniya Suri.

The film revolves around a young boy Ashok (Dhruv Sarja) who goes to Mysore in search of love and accidentally meets a college going student Anjali (Radhika Pandit). It is love at first sight for both of them. However, she does not express her love as she has promised her father that she would only have an arranged marriage. Ashok returns to the city heartbroken. The interesting twist comes when Ashok`s family background is disclosed at the end of the first half. Whether Ashok is successful in convincing Anjali and her father is shown in a pleasant climax.

`Drama` depicts life as a roller-coaster ride by showing their cast constantly struggling or politicking in their daily lives.

The film is all about the dreams of two men and a woman. The story takes place in two different countries - the protagonist is staying in a foreign land and the heroine is in India.

When Pratham proposes to Kushi, she rejects it thinking it to be an April Fool`s joke. She marrie her boss Abhi not knowing that Pratham genuinely loved her. It is only when another woman enters Pratham`s life does he decide to start life afresh.

But a professor infuses negative thoughts about life and marriage in his mind and he leaves her and returns to Bangalore.When he goes back, he observes the positive sides of a family life and chooses to go to Rukmini. But when he returns, things have changed big time.
