But Ajit disappeared on the wedding night leaving Laxmi depressed after months of waiting Ajit arrived back where Laxmi found the truth that he and his father had planned everything to spoil her life for rebelling against them.Ajit and Thakur find Laxmi is pregnant and planed to kill her and noticed that she has heard everything after she came to their palace.Laxmi runs away to save her life but Thakur and Ajit stab her. Bheema then arrived and killed Ajit for which he was sent to jail for seven years. On his return, Bheema's nephew Kanhaiya (Baby Guddu) is abducted by Thakur and his men, and he will only be returned after Bheema obtains signatures/thumb prints from everyone in the community, thereby turning over their properties to Thakur's name. He gets Kishan to marry a simple and plain-looking woman named Chanda, much to Kishan's chagrin and reluctance. After the marriage, Kishan goes to Bombay to look for employment, and soon finds one. When he returns home to visit his "ailing" mother, his father instructs him to take Chanda with him to Bombay, as her rightful place is with Kishan. Kishan agrees to do so. Upon arrival in Bombay, Chanda is shocked to find out that Kishan is married to an attractive woman by the name of Radha. To get out of the situation, he writes to his best man, Jackie (Jackie Shroff), who goes and warns Shrikanth Mathur (Shammi Kapoor). He then kidnaps Shrikanth`s daughter Radha (Meenakshi Sheshadri) and tells her that he is a police officer. They eventualy fall in love; however, later she finds out that he is a goon. Nevertheless, she does not leave him but urges him to surrender. Transformed by true love, Jackie surrenders himself to the police and is imprisoned for two years. But, nobody from Radha`s family accepts their relationship, and set up a series of hurdles. Will Radha and Jackie`s love pass the test of time?
