A team of criminals (Raghuvaran, Jackie Shroff, Rahul Dev, Abbas, Veda) rob hundred crores from a bank. However, the mastermind of the team is shot and has to dump the bag of money into a well. Years later, when the gang comes to know about the location of the money, they go there only to find that a big house has been built on the premises.

Asoka is a hindi film, released in the year 2001. The story showcases Asoka during his exile and how he fell in love with a rebel princess. The film further features Asoka, on gaining back his empire, declares a war in which he lost the princess who was fighting from the enemy side. In his regret and to repent, he become a follower of Buddhism in order to spread peace.
