How movie turns out to be a thriller and that too investigative thriller of sorts. All in all it's a good movie with good performances from Suresh Gopi and Sharafuddin Tharamasi. The corporation of Kochi fails to deal with waste management and garbage begins to pile up in the city. A group of corrupt politicians decide to use a serene village to dump the waste. Each and every city and town in Kerala are facing a severe problem because of tons of waste disposals. The main focus is on Cochin Corporation which is facing a similar crisis on waste management. Lalgudy Nanappan has taken the quotation for waste removal, but he hasn't found any suitable place to dispose the waste. The Mayor of the city, Prof. Sreelatha Varma, a politician with ethics doesn't sanction Nanappan's bills and all the works associated comes to a stand still. At the same time mayor cannot answer to the questions raised by the opposition members. Nanappan has good support from many members inside the Corporation. His supporters are opposition leader in the City Council Stephen, Parasuraman an MLA of the area, Advocate Eenasu who is a legal consultant to the ruling party, and the State Health Minister. Nanappan decided to dump the garbage in Sivaramapuram village with the support of corrupted politicians. Sivaramapuram is a village of calm and serene beauty where people living peacefully away from corruptions and pollutions. Ponnayya Thevar's family owned three-fourth of the land in Sivaramapura. Majority of the villagers were farmers doing agriculture by leasing land from Thevar. Thevar was always hungry for making money. Lalgudy manages to impress Thevar by agreeing a big amount as rental for giving space for waste disposal. Waste from the city starts flowing to Sivaramapuram. The villagers are made to believe with the help of Vasukuttan, a popular peer group leader, that a Waste Treatment Plant will come very soon in the village, thus providing employment to many. But little do they know about the environmental problems that are soon to engulf them.

Charmed by her beauty, Aarya falls in love with her and proposes to her. One day Avataram arranges a party in his house, and it so turns out that Ajay introduces Geetha to his father and persuades him to fix their marriage. Ajay's father, who initially pretended to accept his son's marriage with Geetha, turns tables upside down by introducing another girl Lalasa and announces that his son is going to marry Lalasa. He threatens his son not to marry anyone except Lalasa. Being embarrassed by the situation and helpless, Ajay sits down and starts to get frustrated. Aarya, who loves Geetha so much that he never hesitated to help her, decides to bring Ajay to Geetha and helps them elope. On their way, they are followed by Avataram's henchmen. They eventually find a train and get into it. When they get down of the train in the night, they are shocked to see the leader of Avataram's henchmen, who forces Geetha to come with him, defying his boss' order. On the other hand, Ajay remains helpless, while Aarya fights all the men and finally defeats them, rescuing Ajay and Geetha. They walk on to the nearby town, which happens to be Aarya's hometown. Being tired, the three go to bed. The next morning they wake up and realize that Ajay is missing. Aarya tries to convince Geetha that Ajay left to win over his father. This leaves private time for Aarya and Geetha, and they grow close to each other. Geetha starts liking Aarya and begins to understand him. When she tries to confess it to him, Ajay and his father return. Avataram agrees to get Ajay married to Geetha. On the day of the wedding, Geetha finds out that Aarya was the guy who dove into the sea for her anklet and realizes that he came into her life much before Ajay. She realizes that while Ajay blackmailed her into loving him; Aarya just wanted to see her happy. Geetha also realizes that Aarya truly loves her, while Ajay was just acting on his impulse of wanting what he couldn't have. She leaves the wedding hall in tears and confesses her love to Aarya, and they both reconcile with each other, and this time he successfully throws the stone into the Plastic Coke Cup, indicating he truly succeeded in his love.

But Chetan is also known to drink a lot. They want to find Chetan and befriend it. Laxmi's father (Dalip Tahil) is a drunk, but loves Laxmi no end. He is an artist by profession. He draws his imagination of what Chetan should look like. Two boys Vijay (Suresh), VInod (Arvind) a girl Laxmi (Sonia) befriend Chetan (M. P. Ramnath) by accident (They enter the house when Mathravadhi's out of the house & find his talisman in the grounds, and play with Chetan who comes out to meet them) and release him from the grip of the magician Manthravadhi (Kottarakkara Sridharan Nair). Chetan can take any form, as he is a spirit, but his forms scare the kids, until he takes the form that Laxmi shows him (the drawing that her father made of Chetan). Chetan wants the kids to save the talisman, which is the key to his freedom. Laxmi asks Chetan to stay with her at her house. Mathravadhi is pissed to find that Chetan is gone. Nobody can see Chetan except the 3 kids. Laxmi takes Chetan to a bar where her father spends his time. Chetan drinks everything in the bar. Meanwhile Raja and Anthony are looking for a magician who can defeat Mantravadhi and can get them the treasure. They find Hawa Hawai (Urmila Matondkar). Hawa Hawai decides to collaborate as she wants Chetan and the guys want the treasure. Hawa Hawai tells the guys that her father created Chetan as a pure soul in the temple many yrs ago. But Mantravadhi was her father's servant and stole Chetan for petty gains. She wants to restore Chetan to the temple. She thwarts Mantravadhi's attempt to capture Chetan at the kids school. But Mantravadhi detects Hawa Hawai's presence and turns her into a cat with his spells. Chetan tells the kids that Mantravadhi is using Chetan's powers to release a large treasure hidden in the old house, which is protected with spells. Chetan says one day he will have to leave the kids. But Laxmi wants him to get her father to stop drinking before he leaves. Chetan obliges her by destroying the bar where Laxmi's father frequents. Father hits Laxmi in frustration, but is repentant and gives up drinking. For Chetan's farewell party, the kids use the talisman, which turns Hawa Hawai back to human form and gives Mantravadhi his location, who quickly captures Chetan. Laxmi enters the house to look for Chetan. Vijay and Vinod follow. They find Hawa Hawai at the house entrance. She uses the talisman to break the defenses erected by Mantravadhi. Chetan is free and kills Mantravadhi. he turns into a bat and flies away.
