Dino meets Emran and gives him a strange assignment. To seduce Udita and make her fall in love so he can divorce her. Dino invites Emran to stay in their house in UK. Emran manages to seduce Udita and she falls in love with him, but refuses to divorce him. Now Dino is left with an unfaithful wife and her lover. How Dino comes out of this forms the remaining part of the film.

A Pakistan leader Gul Mustan and well known Lala is plotting to liberate Kashmir from India so that they can take control in there own way but things does not go accordingly as one loyalist of Lala; Albaksh begins to leak important information about there plans to the Indian army. Pratap Singh is in charge of a battalion seeking to stop influx of terrorists and Pakistani soldiers from entering India's borders. He loves beautiful Sonia Khanna, who is also stationed at the same battalion. On the side of the Pakistanis, a leader Gul Mastan, is interested in liberating Kashmir from India, and will leave no stone unturned in order to achieve this. His motive is to rule Kashmir as his own state. He enlists his loyal mercenary Albaksh to achieve this objective. But events turn Albaksh against his master, and gets him on the run, first from the Pakistanis, and then on touching India's border, by the Indian soldiers. Pratap captures Albaksh and promises he will be taken to safety in India. A thief pretends to be a cop in order to recover his diamond from a site that has been converted into the police headquarters. Although he becomes a favourite of the ACP, a colleague gets suspicious. Just before his arrest, Shyam manages to hide a diamond at a nearby construction site, intending to retrieve it as soon as he gets out of prison. When he's released two years later, he's horrified to discover that the building site is now police headquarters, with his stolen gem forming part of the foundation. Shyam decides to create and play the role of Inspector Ram and soon becomes the favourite of ACP Ranbir Singh (Paresh Rawal) at the police station. But life is not that easy for the impostor, who quickly comes to the attention of the ever-suspicious Inspector Pande (Om Puri). Amidst all this mayhem Ram actually finds time to romance Inspector Ranjita (Bipasha Basu). But he also plays the character of Shyam with Ranbir's daughter Komal (Shilpa Shetty). Soon they become lovers. After his release, he's horrified to see that the building now houses police headquarters. He decides to pose as Inspector Ram and get employed at police headquarters, with the motive of retrieving the diamond. Shyam manages to change his name to Ram, gets hired as a Police Inspector, and locates the diamond. Brave Indian policeman Raj beats up, then arrests Muslim terrorist Khan. This gets him promoted, and he is congratulated by none other than his father-in-law, who is also a very high ranking policeman. Under these circumstances, Rajshekhar decides to create situations that will force forward the people who are hand-in-glove with Wasim, including multi-millionaire Shanker Singhania and his very own father-in-law, also the DGP Suryapratap Singh. While he receives natural praise and accolades, some within his own police force don't support or applaud this victory. One such person is Director General of Police Suryapratap Singh, who has a secret meeting with Rajshekhar, and asks him to go on sick leave, so that the Government of India can arrange Wasim's release. The fact that Suryapratap is also Rajshekhar's father-in-law adds more pressure on him to submit to his superior or make matters worse by disobeying him and creating a rift in his personal life. A crime boss is accused by a reporter of murdering her brother and raping her. He investigates the frame-up. Worldwide crime bosses elect Devraj as the new chairman of their organization. This news gets to the police so much that when Inspector, Amit's childhood friend, Ravi is found dead and his sister, Payal is kidnapped the suspension goes towards Devraj. Searches conducted by the police at Devraj's locations meet with considerable progress when they manages to rescue Payal albeit in a critical state as well as arrest Devraj in the process. Devraj is placed before the court of law where-by he is sentenced to death as Payal testify against him. It was also found out that Payal and Devraj was once in love with each other while she happen to get an interview from him during her employment as a television reporter. Situation twists when a hospital patient who happen to be the uncle of Devraj convinces him as well as the law that he had been framed for someone else crime thus Devraj is acquitted and must now begin a quest to find out who framed him and why.
