Environmental activist Purushottam Reddy, known as Simbaa, battles industrial pollution. After saving three lives, their shared journey of gratitude ignites a quest for justice against those who threaten Mother Nature.

The film is a sequel to Yatra (2019); while the first film was based on the life of the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, the late YS Rajasekhara Reddy (played by Mammootty), the sequel will tell the story of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy (Jiiva), the current Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

Ghani is a Telugu movie starring Saiee Manjrekar, Varun Tej and Naveen Chandra in prominent roles. It is a drama directed by Kiran Korrapati with S. Thaman as musician, forming part of the crew.
