Then a rash of kidnappings, of young women, takes place. One male who was traveling in an auto-rickshaw with his sister, saw her being abducted by a male named Auto Kesariya right in front of his eyes. When he goes to the nearby Kala Chowki Police Station, he is asked to make a written complaint. He does so, yet his sister is not located. He persists with his complaint, and then one day disappears from the police station itself. His wife approaches the Courts and asks for their assistance in locating her husband, as she fears that the police themselves are behind his disappearance. The Police Commissioner takes the Governor's permission and has a jailed prisoner, a former Assistant Commissioner of Police, Arjun Verma, reinstated, and assigned to this case. Arjun will get himself deeply involved in this disappearance and the kidnappings and will face the shock and trauma of finding skeletal remains of young women who had been abducted, as well as body parts stolen from innocent hospital patients. Satyaprakash and his wife live in a poor community of mill workers. Satyaprakash is a union leader, and this puts him in deadly conflict with the mill management and he is killed, leaving behind his pregnant wife. His wife gets accused of killing her husband, is found guilty, and imprisoned. While in prison, she gives birth to a baby boy, Azaad, and passes away. Thus orphaned, Azaad depends on the big-hearted people in this poor community. When he grows up, Azaad takes to petty crime and acts like a modern day Robinhood. His girlfriend, Roopa, wants him to get suitable employment, and stop being a gangster and thief. Azaad gets a job as a police inspector, but he does not give up on his Robinhood style, and does everything in his power to accept bribes, and condone criminals for a hefty fee. When questioned, he openly states that he does not keep the money for himself, but instead uses it for the needy in his community. However he is unaware that Sumati is still alive and has given birth to twins Rajesh and Mahesh; while Mahesh was separated at birth and grows up with Inspector Ram Avtar and his wife - Rajesh is taking care of his mother as she loses her mental balance in the trauma. Rajesh and Mahesh do get to unite as the girls they are in love with are link to each other. One day he asks Jaswant to drive the truck for him. Jaswant finds out that the truck is delivering smuggled and illicit goods and refuses to drive it. For this, the owners of the trucking company and others beat him up, eventually killing him. Balwant comes just in time to see his brother's assailants and swears to bring them to justice. However, he himself is held by Inspector Amarnath for the homicide of his brother; his house is burned down by the trucking company owners; his wife is reportedly dead in the fire. Balwant escapes from prison and avenges his brother's death by severely maiming the truck company owners. Balwant continues to avenge the innocent, not through the rules of the corrupt police, lawyers and an equally corrupt judicial system but as a vigilante judge and executioner, calling himself "Teesri Adalat". All his sentences result in death. Years later, Balwant's wife is still alive but the trauma has left her speechless. She had given birth to twins, Mahesh and Rajesh. Mahesh was separated from her in childhood but Raja lives with her. Mahesh is adopted by Inspector Ram Avtar. Raja has a sweetheart in Kavita and Mahesh woos Sunita. Balwant and his family's paths cross when in order to get his adopted father a promotion, Mahesh decides to seek out Balwant and put an end to his "Teesri Adalat". —Soumitra

The marriage takes place, and she re-locates to the Fernandes' house. Shiva ends up getting married to Jagmohan's daughter, Vasanti, and the entire family is overjoyed to learn that Uma is expecting. Uma goes to live with her parents during the rest of her pregnancy, and several months when she returns home she finds that nothing is the same anymore. Vasanti has left Shiva; Rajni has separated from Peter; Vidyasagar has failed in his exams; Vijay and Din Dayal are not speaking with each other and have drawn a line, separating Vijay and the rest of the family. One day he comes across another young man, Vijay Singh, and finds out that he is struggling with taking vengeance against two men who had traumatized and killed some of his family members, and decides to help him. It is then Khan finds out that Gupta is still alive and decides to kill him, quite dramatically in the same courtroom where he was convicted for his murder. Watch how this action will effect Khan's future, and Vijay's plan for avenging his family.

To fulfil his father's dying wish, Dr. Shashikant gets married to Gauri. But misunderstandings and subsequent fights put them asunder. The story follows the separate individual lives of Shashikant and Gauri and their two children. Sashikant is quite a playboy, while at med school. He lives with his widowed father, a retired Judge in a palatial home. The judge (Ashok Kumar) indulges him, with a houseful of servants, a motor car and all the luxuries money can buy; Ravikant is a brilliant student with a very close friend who is rusticated from med school for poor grades. Gowri (Rekha) is the housekeeper, who not only manages the servants and logistics of the household; she also ensures that Umakant follows doctors orders for medication and abstinence from sugar and smoking, firmly but with affection. She is after all, the daughter of Umakant's childhood friend, Narayan Singh (AK Hangal) a poor school teacher, and has known the family since childhood. She holds integrity and high moral values precious, and when she discovers Ravi is dating multiple women concurrently, she arranges for a rendezvous that has all but Ravi laughing, who is embarrassed enough to reform himself. The movie takes us through the ups and downs of four marriages, single parenting some colourful exchanges between a daughter of rich parents, a mother-in-law, the poor relatives of a rich father-in-law. The burning social question of whether a mother or a father is more successful as a single parent, is left for the viewer to decide.

Chandru lives in a palatial house with his dad, Ram Kumar; mom Sita; elder brother Shyam and his wife. Chandru is in love with Geeta Sinha, the only daughter of wealthy Dr. Sinha, and would like to marry her. Geeta, too is in love with Chandru and introduces him to her dad. Dr. Sinha has no objections, the young couple are then formally engaged and a wedding date is set. The wedding preparations take place in both the households, and soon the big day arrives. Before the marriage could be formalized, Dr. Sinha asks Ram that he has heard that Chandru is not the son of Sita but of a prostitute named Radha. This shocks everyone present, and it looks like Ram has a lot of explaining to do in order to get his son married or else live with this stigma for the rest of his life.

Satyam, a youth leader, is assassinated by Rudrayya for falling in love with his daughter. However, when he goes to heaven, he tries everything to return to Earth for revenge.
