The film is a rom-com and will see Nagarjuna in three different shades. The first is a picture perfect portrayal of a mafia lord`s right hand man, the other two see him as a tapori and a man in search of his family.

An Intelligence Bureau inspector goes undercover as a Hindi lecturer in a Hyderabad college. His mission: to infiltrate a mafia don`s operations by trapping the don`s daughter, who also attends the college. While there, he falls for one of his students, complicating his high-stakes assignment.

The creators of the Rajinikanth starrer Chandramukhi have decided to take the story forward with Venkatesh in Nagavalli. The film will see Venkatesh playing three characters, with as many as seven actresses sharing the screen with him.

The story of the film is about how a young man (Rana Daggubati) grows up to become a leader and is set on the contemporary political scenario.
