Read more →A plane-load of passengers are stranded in distant Ganganagar in rural India as their plane is unable to take off due to technical problems. The Airport Manager is Saif R. Khan (Arshad Warsi), intoxicated and belligerent at most times, gets to meet his former sweetheart, Gulab Khan (Mahima Chaudhry), in the company of her husband Gul Khan; Gul does not respect Gulab, Gul is a prominent writer and a celebrity. Gulab has a connecting flight in Delhi to London and is worries that the flight delay will lead to her missing her flight. Gulab tells Saif that she and Gul are getting a divorce. Gulab and Saif used to date and Saif still loves Gulab. Gulab never knew this, and Saif never said anything to her.. He got stuck in Delhi in riots and by the time he came back to Ganganagar, Gulab was married.. Khan's wise-cracking Sikh Assistant, Ram Saran Dubey (Jaspal Bhatti), whose mother is a Sardarni, while his dad is from Bihar; Saif speaks to Gul, without Gul knowing anything going on between Gulab and Saif. Saif realizes that Gul loves Gulab, and just doesn't say it, which was the same issue with Saif. Saif meets Gulab and tells her to go back to Gul. Gulab tells Gul that she doesn't want a divorce, and Gul confirms that he loves her. An estranged father, Sunil Wadhwa (Sachin Khedekar), and his wife Vibha (Iravati Harshe) try to pacify their daughter Nitika into accepting their imminent separation; Sunil is a doctor and lives in London. He comes to Ganganagar once a yr to meet Nitika.. This time Nitika wants him to stay and make up with Vibha. Sunil still have Vibha's pics on his screen-saver. Vibha still collects Sunil's old cigarette butts as memories of times they spent together. They both realize that they have both been each other always.. while Italian Siddharth (Parvin Dabas) has only a few hours to make up his mind who he wants to marry, Anita Ahuja or Manju Narang, who both happen to be cousins, and both aggressively want to be his wife; Siddharth is caught in the violent cross fire. Due to the flight delay he misses his train to Chandigarh where he was supposed to meet another prospective girl. When he calls their home, he is informed that the girl ran away with her girlfriend. Eventually the ladies realize that Siddharth is too self centered to care about anyone and they reject him.. Eventually Manju steps back and asks Siddharth to marry Anita.. Danny and Mina are recently married and Mina is the one who dominates Danny. With them on the honeymoon are Danny's dad Col. Shamsher "Bubbles" Kapoor (Kanwaljit Singh) and Mina's spinster aunt Chanchal (Mrinal Kulkarni). Shamsher and Chanchal love each other and Chanchal is afraid that their kids would judge them. Shamsher knows that Danny is lost and weak as he lost his mom (who was an army doctor), when she died in a terrorist attack during a border posting. Shamsher and Chanchal get closer and Chanchal offers to speak to Danny as his mother. This works as Danny finds his confidence and reverses the equation with Mina. He ignores Mina, who now starts running after Danny. The Pilot Captain Vikram Sinha (Rohit Roy) is shattered when he gets the news that his affair with air-hostess, Rachna (Sandhya Mridul) (who is married to a wonderful husband Ravi and feels guilty about betraying him), has resulted in a much avoidable pregnancy; Ravi didn't like kids and hence they have 3 dogs instead.. this led Rachna to have an affair and she is happy to be preggers. Vikram wants to marry Rachna, but Rachna refuses as Vikram is married to her friend Nisha, and she cant betray her. Ravi now knows about Rachna sleeping with Vikram and hates her for the same. Rachna tells Ravi that she is preggers from another man, and tells him to get out of her house. Ben Sidebottom (Ashwin Mushran) is a Tibetan monk, who came to India to study and fell in love with his boarding school teacher Jenny. Abhay Khona is an antiques dealer from Jaipur. and Internet lovers Farah and Rahul finally meet (Rahul has just finished school and Farah has come to meet him, lying to her dad). She has to return to Delhi by the 4 pm flight - only to come to face with reality as Farah's father does not approve of her affair with Rahul (he finds out when the flight is over 6 hrs late and the secret is out that Farah left Delhi), and does not want her to come home. Farah and Rahul have different dreams. Rahul wants to settle in NY, have 4 kids and wants Farah to be a housewife. While Farah wont leave Delhi, wants 2 kids and wants to be a doctor. Farah is distraught with her father abandoning her & goes missing then. All this happens in the midst of a mysterious male who is asleep on a bench in the Airport Lounge, and he is not to be disturbed under any circumstances. The mysterious male turns out to be Farah's idol Shah Rukh Khan, who persuades her to go back home with Rahul, and makes sure that their parents approve it.

Bobby, Lucky, Jai and Omi are four young men, each one with his own reason to come to the great city of Mumbai. They meet en route to Mumbai and become best friends. But when he plays his first high-stakes card game, he is cheated into losing by a shady gangster Aslambhai and ends up owing a large amount of money. Omi hatches a plot to kidnap a rich businessman whom he has seen in a bar. The kidnapping goes as planned, but then they discover that the person they have kidnapped is not a businessman but a powerful and deadly organized crime figure named Musabhai. Musabhai would be more than happy to get rid of the four for their nerve but discovers that by kidnapping him, they unintentionally thwarted a mob hit on his life which was to take place sometime later. In exchange for sparing their life, Musa recruits the four youngsters to help him in striking back at his longtime rival Sultan. —Soumitra Bobby, Lucky, Jai & Omi are four close friends, who live in a small town, but have dreams of making it big, especially in a city like Bombay. So they accumulate enough money to travel to Bombay, and live a comfortable life there. Lucky is the card-sharp and he tries his skill with Aslambhai, and succeeds considerably. When his friends coax him to play some more, he does and not only loses everything - but owes Aslam a whooping seven lakh rupees. Since they do not have the money, Aslam gives them seven days to return the money to him or else.... The friends sit and ponder their fate, when one of them comes upon a an idea to kidnap a rich businessman, demand a hefty ransom, get the money, release the hostage, and live comfortably the rest of their lives. After some discussions, they find out that one such businessman frequents a bar every week, they accordingly chloroform him, and bring him to their hideout and tie him to a chair. When the businessman comes he tells them to check in any police station as to his identity. It is then that they find out that the person they have kidnapped is Mussabhai - a notorious underworld gangster - who is wanted by the police - and who will go to any lengths to free himself from the four, and kill them in the process. —rAjOo (gunwanti@hotmail.com)
