This Independence Day when he returns as the new DCP of the Mumbai Police Force, Bajirao Singham who fought against the injustice and corruption in the blockbuster Singham, will be seen battling the widespread issue of black money in the sequel titled Singham Returns! Bajirao Singham will use his own inimitable style to take on villainous forces and fight against few political parties to eradicate the black money evil from the country.

Abbas Ali (Abhishek Bachchan) lives in Karol Bagh, New Delhi with his sister Sania (Asin Thottumkal). They are legally fighting for their ancestral property but the odds turn against them and they lose. Their well wisher, Shastri Chacha, advises and convinces them to migrate to his village Ranakpur. He assures Abbas that he will get him a job at his owner`s place, the owner being none other than the powerful Prithviraj Raghuvanshi (Ajay Devgn). But an incident occurs which compels Abbas to cook up a lie. From here starts a series of cover-ups, goof-ups and comic situations where to cover one lie, Abbas starts padding up with a bigger lie.

A wannabe car expert Prem Chopra (Ajay Devgn) with his beautiful wife Jhanvi (Bipasha Basu) running his ancestral gym, a claiming to be married upcoming rock band singer Veer Kapoor (Fardeen Khan) who`s living on his brother`s pocket money and Veer`s ravishing girlfriend Vidya (Mugdha Godse). Just when everything is going great in their lives, enters the upcoming singer`s millionaire step brother Dharam Kapoor(Sanjay Dutt) bringing with him stumbling madness and generating hilariously awkward situations in just everyone`s life.

A 1000 year old box that contains the black stones of the sorceress Cozara. Cozara ( Stella Kim ) using dark magic imprisoned hundreds of wicked tormented souls in the stones, believing it would give them the power to grant any wish, but she soon learned she was wrong. That the dark souls she trapped in the stones had a hunger for human blood and carnage. Unable to control the evil she created, she placed the stones in a wooden box crafted from the tree of life and buried it deep in the earth and there the evil slept. Now a thousand years later, the box and stones untouched by time have been found and anyone foolish enough to open the box will have only one wish, they will wish for death. —Robert Noel Gifford

After Islamic terrorists backed by Pakistan attack the Indian Parliament building, the Indian army assigns the case to Colonel Ranvir Singh Ranawat (Ajay Devgan), who apprehends and arrests the ring-leader Baba Zaheer Khan (Mukesh Tiwari). This triggers a hijacking by terrorist group,Al Tahit. Now, Ranvir along with the ACP, Jaideep Malhotra (Abhishek Bachchan) have to work together to free the hostages and apprehend the terrorists.
