A local thug and criminal, who does not even flinch before killing a person, Masanam (Prakash Raj) slowly rises up the ranks to be a Minister. Shakthivel (Nitin Satya), studying at college with the minister`s sister, Thulasi (Sindhu) falls in love with her, and goes on to challenge Masanam, who obviously does not accept the relationship, What follows is a series of incidents between the two, that leads to a melodramatic climax.

Bharti, a law student from a rich family, lives a comfortable life. However, her life changes when she learns from a classmate that her father makes his fortune from illegal and immoral activities. Bharti Bhandari lives a wealthy life-style with her mom, Sharda, and dad, Ashok. She studies in law college, where she is in love with fellow-collegian, Vijay Srivastav. Another collegian, Vicky, who is also smitten with Bharti, tells her that Ashok has made millions not by a legitimate business but by smuggling, kidnapping, selling children and young women. Bharti is shocked, she confronts her father, but he denies everything. Satisfied that her dad would not lie to her, she goes for a trip to Goa along with Vijay and that's where she actually sees her dad, who is supposed to be in London, U.K., smuggling some children abroad a yacht. Bharti and Vijay find out that Ashok has vital documents that will lead to India being taken over by a foreign power, and they decide to put a stop to this. Before they could do anything, Vijay is killed. When Bharti confronts her parents, resulting in arguments, which lead to a physical struggle, resulting in the death of Sharda, and Bharti shooting Ashok to death. Bharti takes the documents and runs away to distant Ooty in a bid to escape the murder charge and bring the documents to the appropriate authorities. But Ashok's associates find out and she becomes their target, she hires a bodyguard named Jamliya, who proves to be unreliable. Bharti will now find that her worst nightmare comes true when a couple claiming to be her mom and dad surface out of nowhere, backed up by none other than her very own paternal uncle, Kishore Bhandari. The motive to prove her insane. But the question remains what will Kishore and her new parents gain by proving her insanity or is this nothing but her mind playing tricks on her.

Dr. Vijay imprisoned for murder after confronting corrupt official. Released, he finds wife Aarti accused of killing daughter, now a prostitute. He seeks justice, truth about family's fate. While traveling Dr. Vijay Verma witness some men assaulting a laborer; he intervenes and mercilessly beat them up. A few days later he is approached by the village Sarpanch, Dharamraj and threatened not to take matters further but he ignores this. Then one morning the dead body of his assistant is found in his dispensary; the case is then called up in court where by his witness turns hostile, he is sentenced to a long jail term and his wife, Aarti is accused of having illicit relations with his deceased assistant. She is then outcast from the village by angry villagers and handed over to Bombay's police officer, Pandey who attempt to sexually molest her; when she resists her daughter is killed. A few days later she approaches Minister, Channdas for justice but to her shocked she is instead raped by the Minister. She then attempts suicide but is rescued by advocate Bharti Mathur who promises to fight her case in a court of law ensuring that justice prevails. But Bharti herself is unable to do much due to extreme pressure from her politician husband, Chunautilal. After completing his jail term Vijay's attempts to locate his wife are fertile until one day when he happens to see her in the company of Channdas. One day Vijay comes to the rescue of a poor laborer, who was being beaten by a group of men working for the town's Sarpanch, Dharamraj. This gets him in the bad books of Dharamraj, and he is subsequently arrested for killing his assistant, found guilty, and sentenced for seven years. Dharamraj then summons Aarti and openly accuses her of having an affair with the deceased assistant, and orders her to be taken out of this town, to the custody of Bombay Police. Years later, Vijay is released from prison, and is anxious to meet his wife and child. When he returns home, he finds that his wife and child are nowhere to be found. Upon inquiring, he learns that his wife was jailed for killing their child, and is now earning a living as a prostitute, and is currently the mistress of Member of Parliament, Charandas. When Vijay attempts to meet with her, she refuses to recognize him.
