RRR is a period drama set in India during the 1920s, revolving around the inspiring journey of two of India`s freedom fighters - Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem.

The feudal society in the Nelakondapalli village of khammam district is under the clutches of Dorasani (Shwetha Menon) and his aristocratic family. Mallamma (Baby Annie) is the darling of the village who has been brought up by Sambayya. She develops affinity to a basil tree that is considered holy by the village.
