The film deals with life and contribution of the revolutionary trio Binoy, Badal and Dinesh. On 8 December 1930 they entered into the Writers` Building, British India Secretariat of Bengal at B. B. D. Bagh to assassinate the infamous British Inspector General N.S. Simpson.

King Jones arise from his ashes to search for his queen and impose the rules he made for the people 5000 years ago, but he meets Arianna - a present day liberated women, and they embark on a life changing journey - from Rules to No Rules. King Jones comes out of his slumber after 5000 years and begins to search of his Queen, as that's the only memory he has along with the memory that he had made some rules for his people to follow - he sees that no one is following his rules in this age and he is distraught . King Jones run into Arianna - a mother fighting for the custody of her child - and she offers to take King Jones to his Queen - who by now has been turned into the goddess of love, but the Queen cannot die, this was the deal between King Jones and his Queen. This tears the King apart, gradually his memories starts coming back and visions of past, present and future reveal themselves pointing at the judgement day - when there will be no rules.

A group of friends comes across their missing college senior while on a trip. They decide to bring him back to the city and reunite him with his college sweetheart. The story revolves around a group of boys and girls who came to University to study during the 1990s. Three boys and one girl were batch mates whereas one boy and one girl were senior to them. The senior guy was very popular among students and was a strong believer of value-based politics. These juniors became close confidante of him and formed a closed group with common interests and idealism. At present, all are well settled in their personal and professional lives except the senior guy. During his last year in college, he suddenly vanished among strong electoral violence and still today, no one knows about his whereabouts. The senior girl, his love interest, is also passing through unhappy turbulent married life. These guys plan for a reunion at Kolkata among themselves and go back down memory lane. They plan for a quick trip to hills and lend their hands to take a seriously sick patient to district hospital due to requests of desperate villagers. To their great surprise and shock, they found that the patient is none other than their lost senior. They discover his changed life and his single-handed developmental works for the poor in the hills and start dreaming of reuniting with him again and thus decide to bring him back to Kolkata for treatment and arrange for a Reunion. The film unfolds as a black comedy after the death of a man in a bus accident. Corrupt cops try to hush up the case, making the bereaved father (Biswajit) accept that his son was killed when a tree fell on him. Biswajit tries to cope with the grief and injustice in silence, but his daughter-in-law (Paoli) decides to protest. This opens a new chapter, as two political aspirants (Sabyasachi and Paran) try to manipulate the tragedy for political mileage. Meanwhile, the bus conductor (Rahul) who is madly in love with the bus now falls for Paoli.
