Two strangers inadvertently bump into each other in the metro and strike up an unlikely friendship, and in the process find themselves and each other. Iravati takes the train everyday to look after her pregnant niece at the hospital. She meets office goer Preetam on the train, they start talking and develop a friendship since both have had sad experiences in the past.
