Gone are the days (and the movies) when the Indian daughter-in-law stood by silently and got abused and slapped around by her mother-in-law, sisters-in-law, et al. Here, the daughter-in-law has not only her cruel and intimidating mom-in-law, but also her equally cruel, sister-in-law by the hair, and some may say, well under her thumb. Mala is raped by Raja. She takes him to court, but the judge orders her to marry her rapist as punishment. Despite Raja and his family's cruelty, Mala perseveres with kindness, eventually winning them over through her goodness. A pretty schoolteacher named Mala (Rani Mukherjee) becomes the victim of the unwanted advances of an evil man named Raja (Shadab Khan). When she rejects him, he rapes her. The teacher then takes him to court but to her horror the judge compels her to marry the rapist as part of the punishment. He esacapes from jail and goes on to prove his innocence and to get to the root of his operation and Anjali`s murder. Only, he is in for a very big surprise!

Preeti, a wealthy woman, is in an intimate relationship with Prem, but her father disapproves and devises a plan that leads to their breakup. Years later, Preeti is reunited with Prem in a completely different situation. Mamtaram lives a comfortable life with his only son, Suraj. Mamtaram is a miser. Period. He would do anything to procure money and wealth at any cost. And he would like Suraj to get married to a wealthy girl so that she can bring in a sizable dowry. His hopes rise sky high when he finds out that Suraj has fallen in love with a rich young woman named Roshni, the only daughter of Shakuntaladevi. However, Shakuntala is opposed to this marriage, and would like Roshni to get married to Sikander Khanna. But Roshni is adamant, until her mother proves that Suraj is not who he claims to be, but the son of a mere chauffeur, who was a former jailbird. Before Roshni could decide anything, people around them start to die - brutally killed by an unknown, and seemingly unstoppable assailant.

Duryodhan, a wrestler, is Raju`s friend, but due to a misunderstanding he molests and murders his sister. Raju seeks Baba Thakur`s help to train in martial arts to avenge his sister`s death.

Follows Police Officer Siddarth whose aim is to live with honesty and respect as taught by his constable father. Hawaldar Ramchandra wants his son Siddanth to look with respect towards everyone his dream is that he should be appointed as an Inspector at his police station which comes true.Siddanth goes to his village to meet his sister Anu and his childhood lover Surya daughter of Thakur who terrorizes the village.Anu gets raped and murdered by Thakur's abnormal son Ganpat.But the police force is controlled by Thakur and his son in law Minister Pandey they plan to encounter Siddanth but Ramchandra saves him on time but looses his life.Commissioner Shamesher Singh then transfers Siddanth to his village as the head of Policece station to teach law and order to Thakur and his sons. —alex.mjacko@gmail.com

After being falsely accused of theft from the village temple, Gangu is beaten to death by the village masters including Raghuveer Singh, Bhairav Singh, and Sampath.
