Vidyalakshmi decides to start a life with her love, Shanavas, by challenging the dictates of her family. Shanavas too faces severe opposition from his family members since he gets married to a girl from another caste. Soon they have a daughter who is named Laya. However all`s not well and Vidya is left stranded in a busy city along with her kid.

Four friends end up staying in an ancestral house which is haunted by the spirit of Urmila. By the time they realize the truth about the house, things start getting worse.
