Katte is a raw, off-beat and funny love story. The film is a coming-of-age romance and an official remake of the Tamil hit - Kedi Billa Kedi Ranga.

An architect falls in love and returns home, only to find himself caught between two feuding families. As hidden truths about his identity come to light, he takes it upon himself to end the cycle of violence and bring peace through his own path.

Tarun Chandra plays Shyam in this romantic drama who grew up away from his hometown, Mysore. His mother finds a match for him but he doesn`t want to get married and tries evading it. The film stars Sanjjjanaa and Bhama as well. Dinesh Babu has directed the film, scripted it, written it`s screenplay and the dialogues. Jai-Jagadish has produced the film and the film`s background score has been given by Giridhar Diwan.
