The future looks bleak to even the most ardent supporter as the bright promise of the team in teal dims into uncertainty. What fans don't know is that a new-look Brisbane Heat is on the horizon, and they just might hold the key to reignite the cub. Along with some homecoming heroes, the Heat are joined by raw, unfamiliar faces united in their desire to prove themselves on the biggest stage available. Off the field, these aspiring athletes are husbands, dads, greenskeepers, and batmakers, all united by a common love for the game and a relentless desire to change the Heat's fortune. Over the next two seasons, these "nobodies" will face the league's strongest teams while supporting each other through mental health struggles and attacks from detractors. Together, they'll transform not only the culture of the club but also their lives, as the dream of holding the BBL trophy becomes closer than ever.

"2 Weeks in Lagos" is a turbulent and thrilling journey into the lives of Ejikeme and Lola. Their lives collide when Ejikeme an investment banker comes home from the United States with Lola's brother Charlie to invest in Nigerian businesses. It is love at first sight for them and as they embark on a journey of discovering this new love, they have to contend with the political ambitions of Ejikeme's mother who is planning a marriage between him and the only daughter of Otunba Ayodeji, a political juggernaut who is considering Ejikeme's father as his running mate for the Nigerian Presidency. His mother's actions create a rift between Ejikeme and Lola that pits their families against one another with almost deadly results. Ejike's mother is a driven social butterfly with just one aim in mind, make her husband President and become the First Lady. Lola's mother is a psychologist with a cool temperament but she is pushed too far when her daughter is threatened. As the love story of Ejikeme and Lola unfolds, viewers will laugh, cry and root for true love all at once. In "2 Weeks in Lagos" we witness the impact of superstitions on the Nigerian mind when a father tries to kill his young daughter who he has accused of being a demon child (Ogbanje in the local parlance), claiming she is the reason for his depressed business and his wife's sickness that had been going on since she was born. When he is stopped from doing this by Lola and her tailor Madam Eloho, he dumps the child on Madam Eloho and leaves without a backward glance. In Madam Eloho, the elasticity of the Nigerian psyche in dealing with difficulties is fully displayed as she takes on the child without giving it any though and declares that "God will help us" when Lola questions her about being able to provide for the child. "2 Weeks in Lagos" captures the excitement and vibrancy of everyday life in Lagos and reflects the complexity of life in Lagos, a dynamic city where anything is possible in 2 Weeks. Through out the story, Nigerian traditions are explored in an authentic manner that is exciting, educative and poignant; biblical truths about mercy, love, and forgiveness are explored and naturally woven into the day-to-day lives of the protagonists in a truthful and respectful manner reflecting the deep faith of the typical Nigerian. From the crippling infamous Lagos traffic, to the daily hustle that makes up life on the streets of Lagos and a visit to the local street food vendors (Bukkas) serving up the best in local delicacies, "2 Weeks in Lagos will keep viewers glued to the screen from beginning to end.

Macbeth and Banquo, having led King Duncan's army to victory over the traitorous Thane of Cawdor, are approached by three witches on the battlefield. The witches hail Macbeth will be promoted from the Thane of Glamis to Cawdor; they proclaim that he shall be King hereafter before stating that Banquo shall father a line of kings. King Duncan orders the Thane of Ross to execute Cawdor and reinvest the title upon Macbeth. Macbeth becomes alarmed and triggered after Duncan names his son Malcolm as the prince of Cumberland, seeing the appointment as an encumbrance in his path to the throne. Macbeth writes to Lady Macbeth, informing her of the prophecies. When Duncan decides to spend a night at Macbeth's castle, Lady Macbeth convinces her husband to commit regicide. She drugs the King's servants, and a hesitant Macbeth carries out the killing. Early next morning, Macduff, the Thane of Fife, discovers the body, while Macbeth murders the servants to tie up loose ends. Fearing for his own life, Duncan's heir Malcolm flees to England, and Macbeth assumes the throne as the new King. Uneasy over the prophecy concerning Banquo, Macbeth arranges to have him and his son Fleance murdered. Macbeth's assassins, accompanied by Ross as the Third Murderer, kill Banquo. Ross then pursues Fleance through a field. An increasingly paranoid Macbeth becomes a tyrant. At a royal banquet, he hallucinates and begins raving at Banquo's ghost and embarrasses himself in front of everybody. Lady Macbeth has the guests dismissed before drugging him to calm him down. During his trance, Macbeth is again visited by the witches. They conjure a vision of Fleance, who tells him to beware of Macduff, that he shall be King until Great Birnam Wood comes to Dunsinane Hill, and that he shall be harmed by no man born of a woman. Macbeth orders the whole Macduff household be put to death, the wife and children are killed but Macduff himself survives, having earlier fled to England. A guilt-ridden Lady Macbeth begins sleepwalking and gradually descends into madness. Ross secretly visits England and informs Macduff of his family's demise. A grief-stricken Macduff vows revenge, while Malcolm raises an army with English help. The troops cut down branches from Birnam Wood, using them as camouflage, and march on Macbeth's castle at Dunsinane, fulfilling one of the prophecies. Lady Macbeth dies (or is killed), plunging Macbeth into further despair. Still convinced of his invincibility, he is ultimately challenged by Macduff to a duel. Macduff declares he is not born of a woman but instead "untimely ripped". Macbeth initially refuses but ultimately accepts Macduff's challenge. Macduff bests Macbeth and beheads him, fulfilling the final prophecy. Malcolm is crowned the new King of Scotland. Meanwhile, Fleance is revealed to be alive, and Ross spirits him away from Scotland.
