K. Ramachandra, a photographer, becomes nostalgic when he goes back to his hometown. Soon after, during a reunion with his classmates, he meets Janaki, his childhood sweetheart.

Aspiring to become a police officer since his childhood, Radha is offered the post of an S. I. by the DGP after noticing his knack of catching hold of goons. After being appointed, he is first posted at a remote village, which has absolutely no crime rate. Here, he meets Radha, an engineering student, and falls in love with her.
