Watch the movie to find out how he fought against all odds. Born in Maharashtra, British India, on November 4, 1845, Vasudev grows up in a farming community of Shirdhon near Kalyan. After completing his education, he goes to work for the Finance Ministry but is enraged when he is refused permission to visit his ailing mother. He turns his rage against the British, who had recently crushed uprisings from Tatya Tope, Jhansi's Rani, and Mangal Pandey.
