During a festival, a man overwhelmed by the women in his life gains the ability to hear their thoughts. Initially troubled, he learns to understand their struggles and grows more empathetic with help from a therapist. The story follows the journey of Jhontu (Ankush), a street-smart yet naïve young man who struggles to comprehend the complexities of the women around him. His misadventures lead him on a humorous yet insightful journey, ultimately reinforcing the notion that understanding women remains his greatest challenge.

The film is based on a Suchitra Bhattacharya novel. It deals with the dilemma faced by doctors of choosing between ethics and material pleasure. A successful gynaecologist and happily married man has to confront his internal conflict at a crucial time.

Manas is an insurance agent. He lives with his wife Mamata and son Shamik. Mamata is dissatisfied by her husband`s outlook and dreams of bringing up her son differently. But, when Shamik grows up he starts rebelling against his mother`s decisions and dominance. The story revolves around a mother`s insecurity for her son who she thinks has still not grown up.
