Srinivas

Ranganayaki, a music teacher, and Madhav, her colleague who belongs to a very traditional and orthodox family, are set to tie the knot. Krishnamurthy, her drama teacher, is secretly in love with her. One day she gets invited to a birthday party which ends in her sedated gang rape. Madhav`s family refuses to accept the relationship after that. Ranganayaki is left alone to deal with the physical, psychological and societal trauma of it all. Can she stand her ground and fight for her rights against society?

Murugesan, also known as Kangaroo, is fiercely protective of his sister Azhagu, who is the target of the local pimp Ticket's unwanted advances. Suspicion grows as every man Azhagu agrees to marry dies under seemingly natural circumstances, leading to a chilling investigation.

The film revolves around a young boy Ashok (Dhruv Sarja) who goes to Mysore in search of love and accidentally meets a college going student Anjali (Radhika Pandit). It is love at first sight for both of them. However, she does not express her love as she has promised her father that she would only have an arranged marriage. Ashok returns to the city heartbroken. The interesting twist comes when Ashok`s family background is disclosed at the end of the first half. Whether Ashok is successful in convincing Anjali and her father is shown in a pleasant climax.

Marathi film `Kho Kho`, directed by Kedar Shinde and produced by Shobhna Desai Productions, the story revolves around the protagonist Shrirang Deshmukh, a simpleton primary school teacher who spends his whole life in Mumbai making ends meet. He gets cheated due to his humility and modesty, the film later depicts how he evolves from this with the help of his ancestors spirits.

`Aravind 2` is a Telugu suspense thriller starring Sri and Madhavi Latha in pivotal roles. Some of the film`s other supporting actors include Adonica, Kamal Kamaraju, Avasarala Srinivas, Benarjee, Surya, Vijay and Srilekha. The film has been directed by Sekhar Suri who has scripted it and written it`s screenplay too. `Arvind 2` has been produced by G Phanindra and G Vijay Choudary under the banner of Sri Vijayabheri Productions.

Ashta Chamma is a small budget Telugu film, directed by M.K.Indraganti and featuring Srinivas, Swati, Nani and Avasarala. The story revolves around a young girl who is star-struck with Mahesh babu and how far her obsession takes her. The movie is produced by Ram Mohan Rao, with Kalyani Malik for music.The movie is slated for big-scale opening in AP, while noted director Shekhar Kammula plans an overseas release.
