A notorious terrorist manipulates an Indian army major's jilted lover into helping him obtain a classified military code. Major Jaidev Rajvansh and his fellow officer Hussein manage to rescue a leading politician as well as capture his kidnapper, Abhrush. The terrorist has been searched for years and he is finally captured by the two officers. Jai returns to a joyous welcome, and is declared a national hero. He takes a break from the army and returns to his hometown. There he meets his childhood friend Anjali who has always harboured love for Jai. Anjali is determined to make sure she and Jai stay together 24/7. At a party, he meets Miss India, Pooja Mallapa. As they spend more time together, he begins to love her and she too begins to love him. In the mean time, Jai's parents are arranging his marriage to Anjali but when they find out about Jai's love for Pooja, they realise that they have to tell Anjali everything. Anjali, heartbroken and jealous swears revenge on Jai for rejecting her. Realising her hatred for him. Abrush takes advantage and together they plot to destroy Jai's reputation and life. Anjali manages to steal some important documents regarding Abrush's plans. The events following leads to Jai being dismissed from the army and he is declared a traitor to the country. Jai, determined to prove his innocence and redeem himself, decides to pursue Abrush alone. Again with the help of Tatya Mazumdar, Shaku shows him a photo of a military Captain, and tells his name as Capt. Bajirao Rangade. Lukutuke a clerk, who works for Deshmukh is in love with Hema, Mr. Deshmukh's daughter. Mr. Kuber asks for Hema's hand in marriage for Naren. One day when Kuber visits Deshmukh at his office, he bumps into Luktuke, who he recognizes the Capt. in the photo, Bajirao Rangade. Two sisters seek revenge after their ex-military father is killed by Nagoji, a fake freedom fighter terrorizing their village. With help from Nagoji's own son and villagers, they fight to end his reign of terror. Pushpa and Gayatri are the daughters of an ex-army man, Veer Bahadur, now retired to his village. He fights against the atrocities inflicted by Nagoji, a man pretending to be a freedom fighter. Nagoji uses this as a way of full filling wrong-doings in the village. When Veer Bahadur opposes Nagoji, he is killed. Bahadur's daughters vow to avenge their father and save the village from Nagoji. They are helped by Nagoji's son, Santosh, who despises the evil ways of his father and more so when Nagoji attempts to molest Pushpa. Amma lives in Bijapur with her husband and son, Benwa. When a man attempts to sexually molest her, he is killed by her husband, the trio flee, but the husband is shot dead by the police. Amma re-locates to a shanty slum near Dharavi, Bombay, where Benwa grows up and shines shoes for a living. Amma is sexually active with Looka, a hoodlum and extortionist who shows up once in while, and also has a steady relationship with trucker, Anna. Both Looka and Anna are unaware of each other. Looka gets Benwa married to Amli from a nearby slum & Anna gets Amma a much better shelter. All seems to be going well until the Police come looking for an injured Looka, when he robs a pharmacy in order to get medicines for himself.
